Loved our stay! Very comfortable and well stocked condo. Enjoyed sitting on the two balconies. Privacy blinds and AC were wonderful. It was also nice to have a restaurant onsite. I would recommend staying here and hope to return!

My wife and I have stayed at several of the condos at the Villas de Cortez. We consider this property the best so far. The check in process was painless (keyless combination entry via code). We were fortunate to also meet the owner who was extremely helpful and welcoming. The condo is in great shape and all the amenities are there for you. We”ll be back in a couple of months to do a lot more catching and less fishing. Thanks Gary!

Super clean place with all the amenities, great location and great view. The host, as well as Pedro, were communicative and a pleasure to deal with. A real gem.

This condominium is part of a complex that is located on the south end of the Los Barriles beach scene. This means you will have more privacy and more serenity than at locations further north, where all of the wind sports are going on and the quads are roaring up and down the beach. You will have spectacular sunrises every morning and moon rises at night. You will have one of the best restaurants in LB (the Bay View) a two-minute (if you're slow) walk from your condo. You will have ample, safe parking. If you are planning on doing a lot of cooking/eating in the condo, it should be noted that you will not have a full-size oven. There is a large-size "toaster oven" -- but certainly not large enough for a big pot of anything. We ate out every night (there are SO many great restaurants and, hey, I'm on vacation!) so we didn't care. The kitchen is otherwise well-equipped. We brought our own coffee grinder and beans (though Gary does supply Costco ground coffee). Gary is a VERY responsive owner. Any questions we had were IMMEDIATELY responded to by Gary. The condo is comfortable and clean. It's great to have a washer/dryer, plus the extra bathroom. Loved having tons of clothes hangers. We enjoyed our two weeks here immensely.

We spent a week in January at this wonderful condo which was impeccably clean, well furnished, and felt like a home away from home. Reality was far better than the photos! It is clear this is someone’s home and not just a rental property. The bed was amazingly comfortable, kitchen stocked with everything we could possibly need,, and the view amazing! Listening to the waves lap against the shore was so peaceful. Gary was very easy to work with and always responded quickly to questions. Certainly the best unit we have had from VRBO.

Baja style condo in front of Sea of Cortez with amazing views. The condo had all amenities for your stay including beach chairs, towels and yoga mat. The kitchen has complementary items for coffee and tea, also spices. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms had plenty of towels. Very cute condo, safe with door cámara (ring) and plenty of space and lights. No complaints.

Had a great stay. Room was very well appointed and the drinking water filtration system was huge, no lugging water from market.

Nice property, need earplugs for a few nights because of music. Was fishing and went to bed early. Dish network would was shut off, manager was told twice. Also, manager Pedro scheduled us for Sunday Covid test, then no show. There are no Covid tests on Sunday. Had to re-arrange flights which cost money. But, we really liked the property, location, restaraunts and want to stay again.

Ocean view sunrises with your coffee are reason enough to stay here. Good location close to the town. We’ve stayed at las Palmas many times and this is one of the best condos on the property.

Awesome condo!!! You can not beat this view. Enjoyed every moment. Wake up to all the boats load up and enjoy the show. Manta rays jumping out off the water and rooster fish blowing up bait balls. The condo was clean and loaded with beautiful art work. Pool is private and swim up bar was a plus! For sure going to book it again!

Fantastic property with every convenience that you could possibly need. Wonderful views and convenient access to pools and the beach. The condo was well furnished, with extras including the filtered water and W/D. The host was wonderful and easy to communicate with, and the in house condo manager was always available. Will use again!

Love this place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unit and will be back whenever possible. The unit is beautiful, is sparkling clean, and has one of the best views available. The owner Gary and the property manager Pedro both went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. On a scale of 1 to 10, a solid 10.

Great property, incredible views. The people of Los Barrilles couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. The property is within walking distance to the main street with lots of great boutique stores, bars and restaurants. I'm building a house here and wouldn't hesitate to book this property again on my future visits.

This villa is situated on the 4th floor with wonderful views, from the two balconies, of the Sea of Cortez, the fishing boats, the kite-boarders, and the pool and lounge area below. Check-in was very easy and the on-site property management staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The owner of this villa was very responsive to messages and follow-up. Just outside the property gates, we found a great supermarket. The villa has a full kitchen, but with so many great restaurants close-by, we chose to eat breakfast there and go out for most other meals. Onsite, the Bay View restaurant on the ground floor offered up some wonderful foods and drinks - the ceviche!! There is a BBQ on the villa premises, but after a day of fishing, we took our fresh filets to the chef and they prepared an amazing dinner for us. We tried many restaurants during our stay - all within a 5-15 min walk from the villas. Venture out and enjoy. There is easy access to kiteboarding, wind-surfing, or ATB and bike rental shops. We rented full-suspension mountain bikes and got up into the hills...more than 50km of riding over two days. We wanted a quick getaway, far away from crowded resorts, to relax, unwind, and leave the chilly temperatures of home behind...and we got that and so much more. We would gladly choose this property again.
