Michael is the epitome of a Premier Host! The place is beautiful and comfortable but it’s the hospitality of the owner that makes it a great place to stay. Mahali Nui Michael, we’ll be back again for sure!

Each family had their own unit with kitchen and bathroom. Beautiful beach location with plenty of on-site activities. Easy walk to dining and shopping. The host Michael was fabulous, very responsive and friendly. We couldn’t have found a more perfect location for our family vacation!

Wonderful time at a perfect facility for our event -- all children and grandchildren at this beautiful property. Mike Covic is the epitome of Hawaiian graciousness and friendliness. He was instrumental in enhancing the amenities for our stay. And for a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving!

We really enjoyed our stay in Kihei. We thought we were seeing Sea Otters right off the beach but I think they were Monk Seals. There were also sea turtles right off our beach too. Michael was very helpful and brought what ever we thought about. The place is a little dated but the kitchens have all been remodeled. Beds were comfortable. Check in and check out painless. Just a code for the doors and take out trash.

My family and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and our host Maui Mike! From the moment we stepped foot on the lawn-it is absolutely breathtaking. We had a large family group and the accommodations were superb! We had breakfast and dinner on the lawn most days. Lots of chairs, water shoes, snorkeling gear etc. Mike came by with stories, fruit, pastries-it was such a welcome treat. Also always willing to give a recommendation or help. The town itself is super fun with lots of restaurants, shops and of course shaved ice. We hope to come back here again and again! Maholo Mike!

Michael's place was perfect for our 3 families to meet/visit. Lots of sleeping space and the ability to share living spaces was perfect. One family of father, two children, spouses and their children fulfilled their mother's wish by bringing their memories and holding a beachside memorial ceremony so their Mom could visit her 50th state in spirit!

This is our second time to stay here, and it was just as enjoyable as the first! We are a family of 15, eight adults and seven children. There was plenty of room for all of us. The building was 2-one bedroom condos, and 2- two bedroom condos that have been interconnected so it’s perfect for our four families. The great yard that goes all the way to the beach was perfect for the kids and adults alike. Michael is a great host and is easy to reach anytime. We’re definitely coming back!

Property is well kept and maintained. We especially enjoyed lounging in front of the units while watching the waves and enjoying the ambience of the surroundings. We had three families for a total of 11 and all thoroughly enjoyed the facilities, especially playing on the beach and walking the beach at sunset. The time went too quickly! Wish we were still there.

This place is great for a family vacation. Beautiful sunset every evening. Huge backyard for the family to run around and burn energy or just relax by the beach. When Michael says that the sea turtles come up every night to the beach, he's telling the truth! Michael makes himself available if you need something or just a guide for local favorites. Very child friendly! Backyard is amazing! Our host Mike knows Maui like a native, because he is. He’s very friendly, accessible, while giving us our space. If you’re looking for Island Chill while having vibrant locations close by, it’d be tough finding a better place!

We all had such a great time, perfect for a large family vacation. Mike, our host, was gracious and knowledgeable about this beautiful island.

We had a great two weeks in Kihei at the house! We rented out the whole house and it worked great for our four families. Kids all loved the lawn and running down to the ocean. Awesome place to stay. Perfect location and space for multi family with different ages and friends. The view in the back yard is magnificence. Michael is a great host. He provides so much helpful information about where to visit while in Maui! It really makes it hard to come back to reality after a stay as nice as this.

We had an incredible time staying here! Michael was such a great host and very kind and helpful. We were 5 families with many kids and the house was perfect. It was clean, in a great location, and had tons of beach chairs and snorkels and other things we could use. We were able to hang out and grill burgers as a family on the grass area. Then walk on the beach in the evening to see the turtles coming on shore! It was a magical week and I want to thank Michael for making this a special memory for my family.

Property is laid out great for multiple families. Able to separate when kids need downtime or sit together to eat dinner and watch the sunset. Large lawn with wonderful view was our favorite part. Michael responds immediately to any requests and is very helpful with questions and suggestions. Lives up to its name of Al’s Paradise.

Our two families were united by the marriage of their kids! Staying here was a great way to get to know the other family and have some time to join together !

We were a group of 15 friends and this property did not disappoint. The property was as promised, it was an amazing location with exceptional views. The property owner was extremely informative and very helpful throughout the stay. We are already talking about booking it again next year. Highly recommend.

Our stay at this house was absolutely wonderful! This is our 2nd visit to Maui and the previous time we stayed in a hotel on the North West side of the island. However, after staying at this house, on this beach, and at this location, we will never stay anywhere else on Maui again. Even though the house was a little older, the units were clean, beds were comfortable, the decor was beautiful, and the renovations were nice. However, the things that are worth every penny with this rental were the yard, the beach, the location, and the manager. We loved lounging in the nice lounge chairs in the quiet yard, and beautiful beach. It was literally paradice. It was also nice to be near so many great activities, beaches, and places to eat. Michael, the property manager, was awesome to work with also. He even found a tent and mattress for my daughter to sleep in as she wanted to sleep outside to hear the waves. He gave us great advice on places to go and things to see each day depending on where we wanted to go. Seriously, we just can't say enough about how great this place was. If you are going to Maui, don't look anywhere else, just book this property. We are already making plans for the next time we come back! See you soon Michael! Our family group of 15, 9yo-71yo, had a wonderful stay. The home is set up nicely with apartments so that the families with kids had their own spaces, as did the seniors, and the 30ish couples. We frequently watched the sunset from the beach at the end of the yard and then cooked and ate dinner under the stars in the yard over looking the ocean. And afterward walked down the beach to see the turtles resting. Mornings were equally delightful, peaceful cup of coffee watching the walkers/joggers go by with whales spouting and splashing in the distance. The house is on a quiet cul de sac away from the main road so no traffic or noise, other than the chickens and one morning of neighbor's leaf blower. Its convenient, only a few blocks to Foodland (grocery) and a Pzza Madness, excellent Pizza and Sandwiches. Parking is good. Quick access to the southern beaches, Maalaea Harbor, and good roads to the airport, Lahaina, and the crater. The house is older, but has been nicely renovated and updated, except for one smaller unit. The kitchens are nice and we put them to good use. Nice TVs and internet throughout the property when the people needed a break or I had to work. Thank you Michael.

We had an amazing time in Maui. We had our kids and grandkids with us. The home we rented was perfect and Micheal the landlord was very genuine and so helpful. We will go back.

Our extended family of grandchildren, adults and grandparents enjoyed this fabulous property close to the ocean. All the families had a place of their own, the large grass lawn was the center of our volleyball and football games. The ocean is at the end of lawn and we enjoyed our ritual of watching the sunset together. Michael, the host, gave us great advice about local activities and food. Michael also treated us to local favorite sweets. This trip was truly paradise.

I treated my family to a vacation in Kihei, Maui. There were multiple families, so the individual units were perfect. Everyone was so happy with our stay and already talking about coming back. Michael was an amazing host and made us feel like family. We saw turtles and a monk seal on the beach it was awesome. Kids learned to surf. Many wonderful memories were made.

This property is amazing. Micheal was a big help from entry to exit. He also has his pulse on activities in Maui. Micheal was a great host. This is perfect for large family gatherings. It kept us all together but slowed for separation of space. Large grass yard all the way to the beach. There are plenty of sports and beach toys available. You almost have to bring nothing. This property is also right in the middle of the Kihei action but sits in a dead end road and felt very private. We had a fantastic time and will be returning!

We had a group of 12 stay at the property and had a wonderful time. Mike was a great host and offered up anything we could need. He even introduced us to lau lau, which was delicious. All the beach necessities and sporting equipment (ie. badminton, volleyball, wiffle ball, fishing rods, boogie boards, etc.) were available and in good shape. The units are clean, spacious and well stocked. We definitely recommend booking a stay at this spot; you won't be disappointed.

My family (13 of us!) very much enjoyed our weeklong stay here! This house was everything we could have hoped for our Hawaiian vacation - beach front, spacious, and fully stocked with everything we possibly could have needed! Mike, the owner, was fantastic and super helpful. Great experience all around and I definitely recommend this place to anyone! :)

Al's Paradise was the ideal resort for our group. We had 8 adults and 9 children, ranging from 6 to 14. Each family had their own living quarters, and the grounds are fabulous. The grass area, the beach access, and all the amenities made for a perfect vacation. Michael, our host, was great and very helpful with directions and suggestions for activities. Loved it !!

A big thank you to Michael. We booked this property back in 2019 for our summer vacation for 2020 which got postponed due to pandemic. After 2 years we finally got our heavenly vacation. We booked the main house which is 4 units. Perfect for our party of 11. The view is breathtaking. The yard is exactly how shown in pictures. The kids played volleyball and football. They got to run on grass to the sand. Sea turtles come up to sleep nightly. The house had everything we needed.Michael gave us so many recommendations. He was the best host. This property deserves more than 5 stars. Our favorite places to eat were Nalu’s, Kihei Caffe, Peace Love shave ice and Maui Pie. There is a little farmers market open m-f that had some lovely fruits and vegetables. There are plenty of snorkel gear and water shoes to use. Beach toys too like boogie boards and sand toys. We didn’t want to leave and I hope one day we can come back to this property. Mahalo Michael- definitely well worth the wait!

We had 15 family members for a stay at Al’s Paradise for an 85th birthday party vacation. The property is amazing with 5 separate units, great for privacy and a huge yard to congregate and eat meals together. We played bocci ball, volleyball, whiffle ball and enjoyed the gorgeous views. I highly recommend staying here and bringing your favorite people!! Mahalo Michael!!

We loved this property and the multi units for our 14 adults, 2 teenager, and 4 child group (families). We utilized all five units and appreciated that everyone could have space but at the same time we were all together on a beautiful property. Every morning started together watching the ocean with coffee and ended watching the sunset. Michael is a wonderful host and very easy to work with. I highly recommend!
