Highly recommend this location. Beachfront, beautiful pools, roomy, and great features of the resort. Great communication with the rental company.

Everything was great and convenient. The staff was was kind and courteous. The view was amazing and the layout of the place fit my family perfect with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. I would suggest future guests get the linen package, I opted not to and it added extra luggage to tote back and forth (bad call on my part). Perfect stay for my family!

I've stayed at Island Vista before as a guest of the property, not as a VRBO. I've always had a great experience and this time we did as well. However because this was a VRBO the resort would not let us room charge or even leave a credit card at the desk for drinks/food, they would not even give us a bar of soap. It would be nice if the VRBO owners had an arrangement with the resort to offer more customer service amenities that could be charged directly to the guests. It was a total aggravation having to remember to take a credit card to the restaurant every time we wanted a drink. Otherwise, everything about this resort continues to be ideal.

The bed was very comfortable, the place was great the only negative thing was it was not clean although there was a card on the counter saying it was cleaned by 2 people. Employees at the resort we're wonderful and friendly.

The resort is absolutely stunning… with this being a VBRO, the customer service at this resort 11 out of 10. I ran into some concerns and the staff was not obligated to help me, they really went over and beyond to assist me with my mishap. Caren with the property management company is absolutely wonderful!! I will definitely return to this resort and use the property management company for other vacations. The following is on the owner of the room, nothing to do with the property management company nor the resort… The room was wonderful! Top floor breathtaking views… The lock to the main door has on going issues the property management company is aware of and told me ahead of time… this should have been replaced long ago and I had issues entering and leaving my room due to this… in the room the carpets and rugs can use a cleaning apparently are scheduled for cleaning after my vacation. Again this is on the owner of the property not the resort nor the property management company. The owner is aware of the on going issues with the front door.

Carmen at Oceanfront Rentals was so responsive and the place was perfect for a family of 7!

Our yearly late summer get away to Myrtle Beach was wonderful. VRBO did an excellent job with everything . When we take our late summer getaway we always use VRBO.

Location was great. The property mgmt was great.

Loved the place and the view. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of space.

Our son passed in January and Myrtle Beach was his favorite place so we came with short notice for a celebration of his life. He would have really enjoyed the Island Vista it was amazing our family really enjoyed it and my son would have too. He was missed but we will return next year to always celebrate him and are very thankful for the managment for getting us in so quickly and making our trip amazin.

We love this resort! This property was perfect for our two families and little ones!

This Condo was very nice, and the owner was the best. There were minor issues and the person to contact was amazing and attentive and got done the things that needed to be done. The couch does need to be replaced bit comfy at all. But everything else amazing. Beds comfy, kitchen was well equipped. The washer and dryer were perfect to have. Perfect for large family and roomy. The owner was awesome to provide a cart to help with luggage. Also elevator was fast and clean. Great place I would recommend 100%!

The location and setup of the property was perfect for our Spring Break trip. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The view from the balcony was amazing. We were a little disappointed to find the pool down for maintenance during our entire stay. That should have been posted when booking the property.

“Penthouse” is misleading - it’s just the 13th floor of this building, no difference in similar condo on diff floor, but nice view from top. Good location geographically for MB (not in the thick of main strand but short distance to get anywhere). Parking for large SUV is difficult (at best). Carpet needs replaced, dryer takes 2 cycles to dry one load and squeaks a lot, main patio door needs maintenance (hard to close, takes 2 hands and several tries to close it). Was clean. In a busy resort, only 3 elevators for whole property (move in was absolute chaos). Can’t use bellhop caddie bc going thru VRBO, owner has tiny one to use, won’t hold much. As I have been to MB many times, I expected more for the $4500 I paid.

Clean. Comfortable beds. Wish towels, linens, bathmats, pack-n-play, and high chair would have been on-site... this is a family resort and it would be great not to be required to bring all of that OR alternatively pay $40/per bed and be referred to a company to rent the high chair and pack-n-play from. I also wish there would have been a lock at the top of the door to keep the kids in the unit. We had to put things in front of the door to prevent my 3yr old from opening it constantly and running out. Aside from that, the property was good, kitchen has all of the appliances you need. Very spacious with a nice layout. Friendly staff. *The restaurant wasn't serving the full menu, and the bar also was not serving the menu listed, plus the hours were shortened, however, I assume this was due to covid. The pools were fantastic and great for rainy days. We would likely stay here again.

Overall great place but was not aware that it does not come with sheets or towels. Had to go buy after we got to the room that evening. Also this condo is not part of the rental program at this place so its privately owned. You can not get room service through the restaurants there. So doordash worked great.

Enjoyed our stay!

First of all, this is a great location. The area on Myrtle beach is relatively secluded and there was never giant crowds on our part of the beach. However, the resort staff is not very friendly (I guess because we booked through the owner and not directly through the resort). They refused to give us an additional parking pass so one car in our party had to pay to park across the street the entire week. We also found empty liquor bottles in the dresser in the master bedroom. I did not talk to the actual owner listed on the property a single time. They also don’t answer the phone, but they do call back if you leave a message. I’m thankful we were able to reschedule due to the circumstances with COVID. We had a good time, but I probably won’t stay at this property again

Everything was dusty, did not dust the ceiling fans but they needed it. Toilet leaked in the 2nd bedroom. Blinds were hanging down off the sliding doors, pulled out from the wall. No broom avaialable to clean up the floors. Bedroom comforter had bleach stains all over it. Very dissatisfied with this room!

There was plenty of room for our three grandchildren to enjoy in the condo, the pools were great we would swim all day inside and outside then relax in the comfort of the living room and great bedrooms.Thank you so much from the Sandor Family

We very much enjoyed our stay at Island Vista. One small detail that caused some issue was the fact we were not permitted to use the luggage carts at the resort. The penthouse owner had one, very small cart to use. We brought a lot of food, beach items, and luggage. We had to make several trips to get all of our stuff up to our penthouse. Would have been nice to know this ahead of time or have some type of agreement with the resort to access their carts. Our refrigerator/freezer was not working properly. We called on Sunday. No return call. Called again on Wednesday after a portion of our food in the refrigerator was ruined due to excess water from the freezer (it also didn't cool well). After insisting, a repair person was sent to look at the fridge and said he had to order parts so we were basically out of luck for the week. However, overall we were pleased with the resort and the staff.

Renting process was simple and the property is great.

The condo was nice. Furniture a little dated, but OK. Beds comfortable. Amenities Ok, need more eating utensils and large cereal/salad bowls. A non stick frying pan would be nice. All loved the pools, lazy river and beach. Would return.

We stayed here for my daughters college graduation and the Condo was perfect for the whole family. Lots of beds and bathrooms. It's great to have full kitchen. The locations was great, quiet and the beach and views are amazing. The balcony is spacious. We took advantage of the pool, lazy river, hot tub and ocean. So many options. I would definitely recommend this to families. The luggage cart was a bonus when bringing suitcases to the parking garage!

This was a nice find. Great pools, oceanfront. Beds are comfortable but living room furniture old. The parking garage is very small and hard to park a suv or pass another vehicle. It is away from boardwalk so very quiet.

The property at Island Vista was excellent. The pools and beach area are great for everyone. The location surrounding the resort was quiet and close to everything. The property had everything you need with pots, pans, etc. The view was amazing from the penthouse. Great for families and we will definitely be back for future vacations.

Had a great time at Island Vista. The condo was very nice, but the bathrooms were outdated. Otherwise it was great.
