I highly recommend this place. The hot tub and terrace offer a gorgeous view. It was a very comfortable apartment for my family and me.

My family and I initially planned to stay in Sergio's beautiful apartment for about 10 days and we loved it so much that we extended it to 14 days! The apt was spacious, impeccable, and it had all the amenities you needed for a home away from home. We had regular communication with Sergio and the property manager, Santiago, and they were always responsive and willing to assist with any questions we had. We enjoyed access to the beautiful rooftop, pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, etc. The building has a doorman who was also very attentive and helpful. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Quito!

This our second time renting this apartment. The owner Sergio is always very responsive and his nephew Santiago was very friendly and helpful checking us in, out and available throughout our 8 day stay. Highly recommend it!

The apartment is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The kids loved the pool. Great place to stay.

We were received by Santiago Aviles at midnight even though it was an official holiday. The apartment full filled all our expectations. I highly recommend it.

Everything was clean. Beds were comfy with lots of pillows and blankets. Plenty of room to sit and visit in livingroom. Frinedly and helpful Washer and dryer came in handy. Would stay here again!

If you’re looking for a modern, well-appointed rental in a beautiful Quito neighborhood, look no further! The neighborhood is safe and quiet, it was easy to find cabs, and there were plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The host is very responsive as well. Our family of 5 adults had plenty of room in this apartment. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Wonderful for families

My cousin had stayed at this location in June 2019 and told me how great the apartment was. Centrally located, large, clean, secure and swimming pool access! I've traveled to Quito many times as I have family there. This apartment was centrally located in a safe neighborhood. Many great restaurants and coffee shops close by. Was greeted daily by Jorge Cruz & Valeria at Sweet & Coffee across the street for our daily lattes. 24-hour security not only at the front entrance but also at the underground parking access. My girls enjoyed the swimming pool, while we enjoyed the hot tub. Everything you need in the apartment for short and long stays. Carmen, Sergio's sister, was very helpful and greeted us at the apartment building when we arrived from the airport. We had a lovely stay and can't wait to come back!

Not only was the apartment incredibly clean, the beds were nice and firm, the kitchen well stocked with essentials, plenty of towels and puzzles from which to choose to play. It was great.

Thank you Carmen and Sergio for another lovely stay! We enjoyed the quiet apartment and the heated pool and sauna. Also we ate ourselves sick at the many delicious local restaurants.

My husband, 2 kids and I stayed in Sergio's apartment from September 4 through December 1. We were greeted at the airport by Gonzalo and Carmen. They drove us to the apartment and went through everything with us. Carmen does not speak English but Gonzalo was there to interpret for us which we appreciated. Upon arrival the suite was very clean - probably the cleanest VRBO property we've stayed in. It was spacious and we had everything we needed to get started. There are plenty of linens, the kitchen is well stocked and all the appliances worked great. We had no problems at all and any questions we did have were quickly answered when we emailed Sergio. The building is also very clean and we loved the pool; so warm! The only thing missing was a couple lounge chairs. There are a few plastic chairs but not great for relaxing. The gym was good too; we used it several times a week. We felt safe in this building and out walking. We walked to Carolina Park (always fun things happening on weekends), El Jardin mall and Quicentro mall. We bought most of our groceries at the SuperMaxi (there's one in El Jardin mall) except for fruit and veg. The street vendors and good prices or the Friday market in La Floresta is close by. Typically we would walk there and then get a taxi home. Taxis were very easy to find; always several going by at any given time. The apartment is also within walking distance of many restaurants and coffee shops. We liked Ambato Bakery for bread and treats. This apartment is a great central location to check out the area. We did overnight trips to the Amazon, Mindo and Quilotoa - loved them all. We also did many day trips in the area. We recommend the walking tour in Old Town, the gondola up Pichincha, the La Floresta walking tour, Virgin Mary statue, equator museum etc. Check out Roaming Around the World blog for a list of fun things to do in Ecuador. Gonzalo can arrange transportation for you. We used him several times for the out of town trips and were very happy with his service. Overall I would recommend this apartment to anyone spending time in Quito. I think it is probably one of the nicest properties in the city. Thank you Sergio! We hope to return some day. Wonderful stay. Clean Condo. Plenty of room. Very accommodating Those are the first things that come to my mind. I would easily and gladly choose to stay here again. Worth every penny. Carmen was very sweet when we arrived. She was very thorough in all the explanations necessary to know in the apartment. She took the time to answer all my questions. And when I needed additional answers during my stay she always answered the phone and graciously helped me. . Like the advertisements stated plenty of places for coffee or places to eat all right down at the front of the condo. Don't even hesitate. Book this place before you can't.

My family of five spent ten amazing days in Quito, Ecuador. The apartment at González Suárez was perfect for us. The 3 bedroom 3 full and one half baths were clean and modern. The building is immaculate and neighborhood is is safe and convenient. The in apartment washer and dryer were very convenient. We also loved the city views. We will definitely look to stay there again in the future. Sergio and Carmen were great and very helpful.

The apartment is better in person than the pictures depict. It is very well appointed with top of the line furnishings and wonderful views. We felt as if we were home from the moment we arrived! Carmen, the Property Manager, is lovely and very accommodating. Carmen welcomed us when we arrived, and called a few times to check in wondering if we needed anything. Secure, safe, easy - the right price and very friendly people to deal with. Sergio was an expert at taking care of us. Five people, we had no issues and two balconies. Just as advertised. Rooms are great, view is nice, parking is easy. Close to get necessities also, within walking distance. I will stay with Sergio again.

Great location, helpful owner, and nice quiet relaxing place

We loved our apartment. It was very comfortable for us (5 adults) and was well appointed. The neighborhood was great and close to many activities that we enjoyed.

We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and enjoying the view ,the neighborhood was quiet and very safe ,the local grocery stores were well stocked (we only needed to go to the super maxi once) ,the pool area was nice ,but be sure to bring swim cap and goggles as they are required to use the pool, the apartment itself was very clean and modern ,internet was good but it would have been nice to have a couple of English language channels on the TV, Taxi service is excellent ,just step outside the building and wave one down , when returning home we found that drivers new the pizza restaurant better than they knew the building name ,so take a pic and use the restaurant when returning home,all in all a very enjoyable experience

Aldrovandi was the best choice for accommodation in Quito. Clean and well equipped kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Very good communication with owner Sergio. He was very helpful to arrange airport transportation, and also to stock the condo with food and supplies before our arrival. González Suárez street has many good eating places and specialty shops nearby. Also a small market and an excellent new restaurant named Quitu, just off González Suárez. Ecuadorian cuisine with tasting menu. Enjoyed the spa at Aldrovandi and the spectacular views from the condo and spa. To our delight it was very easy to get around Quito by taxi cab. They are frequent and inexpensive. Ride to Old Town is $3-4. Also felt safe walking. Quito more than met our expectations. Very friendly people.

We spent 5 nights at Sergio's apartment. Everything was perfect. Apartment is beautiful, spacious, with everything you might need. It is located in a safe area of town, with restaurants and small markets nearby. Carmen did grocery shopping for us (we sent Sergio a grocery list). She met us at the apartment at 3am, when our flight was 4 hours late, and was very welcoming and gracious. Sergio was very helpful with arranging transportation to and from the airport. We were impressed with how well thought through everything is in the apartment. We didn't feel anything was missing. The pool on the roof deck is great, with amazing views. We would not hesitate to book Sergio's apartment again.

We could not have been more pleased with the property. The view was awesome, the layout of rooms was wonderful and we each had our bedroom and bath. Carmen, the property owners sister was there to welcome us and explain everything about the property. Carmen remained available should we have any questions during our stay. She checked out the property upon our departure. We now have another friend in Quito. We found all the necessary items to establish our household for the week we were there. Convenience stores were next door for all our needs. Security was incredible with a full-time doorman. Additionally there were electronic means by which to enter and leave the property. It was easy to call or catch a cab to travel. Cabs were readily available.

Sergio is an excellent host! Always communicative, never invasive. This was a great experience. Centrally located, great views and very clean, spacious and well equipped. Without exaggeration, one of the best rentals I have experienced. Thank you, Sergio! ...and Carmen.

We loved our second stay at this beautiful apartment. It was a joy to greet Carmen again and her hospitality, communication and care was, as usual, top notch. We tried new restaurants in the neighborhood, enjoyed the apartment pool and rested well in the very comfortable beds. We can't wait to return. We had a wonderful week in this lovely condo! Sergio & Carmen were so helpful & accommodating. We were planning on staying at a hotel after traveling around Ecuador with our son who is living in Quito. However, we loved the condo so much that we extended our stay. Truly, a home away from home.

This place was fantastic! We had 6 people and it easily accommodated all of us with ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Our friends were so pleasantly surprised how nice this place was. It was very modern, clean and well equipped. The location was perfect and in a very safe neighborhood. Multiple nice coffee shops on the same block, and the rooftop gym, swimming pool jacuzzi were amazing with a beautiful view! Sergio was very responsive always, and Carmen stocked the fridge for us (upon request) so that we had a few staples upon arriving late at night. This home away from home was awesome!

This beautiful 3 bedroom/3.5 bath apartment located on the forth floor was a perfect place to stay while visiting our daughter in Quito. As it was our first time visiting South America this property had all the comforts of home. It is located in very clean, upscale and quiet part of Quito unlike most hotels in town. There is a little market next door with bottled water and food items. We visited frequently during out stay. There are also several nice restaurants within a few blocks and a coffee shop across the street. Sergio and his sister, Carmen, have thought over EVERY DETAIL in stocking the apartment. Such as night lights, coffee, tea, spices, paper towels, napkins, laundry detergent, space heaters (most accommodations in Quito do not have heat which we actually did not need) and fully stocked kitchen. You can flush the toilet paper which is rare in Ecuador. The apartment is a split plan in which you enter into a foyer (half bath to right) with a dining room and living room straight ahead. The kitchen, laundry room, a full bath and eat in kitchen are to the left and the three bedrooms and sitting area with the TV are on the right. The master bedroom has a large walk through closet into the master bath which has a shower/tub and amble counter space. There is another full bathroom with a step in shower between the two other bedrooms. There are two long balconies off the kitchen/LR and the master, both of which have a table and chairs and amazing views. We really enjoyed the workout room, two jacuzzis, sauna, steam room and pool located on the fifth floor with beautiful views of which get the afternoon sun. The building is beautiful with a large marble entrance with fob key to get in and a desk with very friendly and helpful 24 hour guards. One went out of his way to get a taxi for us. Carmen and Sergio could not have been nicer. We got a free airport pick up with our stay of five days (this runs about $25 as we payed to get back to airport on our departure). They also extended our stay as requested as were so pleased with the accommodations. If we ever get to Quito again we will be staying here, our new home away from home, in South American.
