Bamberg is absolutely beautiful, hotel in quiet location, nice 10 minute walk into Bamberg, uphill walk back or there is a bus stop nearby that we used when carrying luggage. Friendly helpful staff, traditional hotel, would recommend, we didn’t have breakfast.

Easy no-contact access, clean space, and large rooms which is helpful when traveling with a family. We liked the 15 minute walk into town but I can see how some may not.

The wifi was not reliable so getting work done was not feasible.

The room was well equipped. The view of the hill was very good, especially the castle on the hilltop is lightened up till midnight. The staff was friendly too

It takes around 15-20 minutes to reach city center on foot but if you have a car then it is just 5 min.

The hotel is located in a quiet quarter of the town, 10 minutes walk from the town centre. From our room we had a beautiful view of the castle Altenburg.

Very poor breakfast ... For 9€ per person for breakfast I would expect much more ... (There were no scrambled eggs, no bacon, no Bavarian sausages, etc.) The elevater lifts only to the third floor.

First of all there was no check in process; I arrived to the hotel shortly before 20:00 (which is not a very late hour) but the reception was closed. Someone on the intercom said there was a room-key for me in a box. Early next day I got confirmation from my bank that the hotel's bill (4nights) had already been debited from my credit card, but when checking out the receptionist told me there was no payment at all on my name, so I had to pay again. I don't know yet who's mistake was it, if the bank's, booking's or the hotel's, but had there been a checking-in process I wouldn't have this problem now. The reception service is only during the morning and that's not good at all. But among all the things I hope I can get my money back.

Great location, close to city center. Nice staff. Clean rooms. Large parking lot for free.

The room is really small. The bed is too soft, not very comfortable. There is no breakfast buffet due to covid, just simple á la carte menu.

Proximity to Altstadt (15 min walk) Free parking (first come, first served). Good for small cars, a SUV might be challenge. Clean and COVID regulations in place. Friendly front of house staff.

Nothing really. A bit of a 70’s feel from the decor (maybe a renovation is due, but in these times...) nevertheless spotlessly clean and functional.

One of my best stays in Bamberg. Close to city center (15 minutes walk), 2 mins walk to my fav brauerei. Very quite location, nice view of Altenburg castle, easy access by car, free parking. Comfortable bed, what else needed...

The room is ok, clean and has everything you need. Heating was fine (there is no AC) and internet is working good. Breakfast is standard and good for the price of 9 euros.

Toilet in the single room was really small.
