A very nice stay

Það var allt uppá 10! Herbergið var frábært, við fengum herbergi sem var með baðkari eins og síðast þegar við vorum hérna sem var æði. Starfsfólkið er alveg yndislegt og gera allt til þess að koma á móts við mann. Við fórum aftur í Spa og móttökur þar voru æðislegar eins og síðast.

Room was good, a little bit too warm. Bed was comfortable and hotel has great facilities (that can only be used by Hilton members).

Breakfast super expensive, not even tried to see if it was good (38 euros per person). SPA was nice, but I could not use it (not even the gym), since it was only for Hilton members.

Everything ok except staff attitude at front desk and few at dining hall

staff attitude at front desk and few at dining hall . 1. Enquired about welcome drink as information was displayed . But very curtly staff said ‘we don’t serve it’ 2- I had requested front desk staff that we are leaving next day at 06:00 . Wonder if you can help us with packed bfast? . Yes they said that they don’t do it but we can pick up from displayed items near front desk. On inspection there were no veg sandwiches at all. So I again went to front desk. They said they can’t do veg sandwiches , just with veg and cheese, we had to order much in advance? ??? So they directed me to their duty manager, who curtly said it’s not possible. Pick up what is available( in nutshell ‘ take it or Lea it, attitude). So we went to the dining hall , where staff agreed to get it done but with much not so professional way. Next day I picked up sandwiches which were supposed to be veg , later discovered it had egg???? - Not impressed at all. We have traveled across the world. This was the experience we don’t cherish it at all. My apologies for feedback. All other hotel staff were very good. Bfast was good Thanks

Improve bed quality. They use spring beds. Improve sound coming from street… poor window isolation… provide proper coffee machine in the room. … room standards do not meet the facilities provided by smaller hotel options available in the city.

La struttura è accogliente , camere pulite e comode ristorante e prima colazione ottima

Il menù è sempre lo stesso sarebbe piacevole se aggiungessero altro ,sono tornato dopo un anno ed è lo stesso

Værelserne var lyse og sengen var god. Ekstrem lækker morgenmad!

Vinduerne var meget beskidte hvilket ødelagde den gode udsigt fordi man ikke kunne undgå at lægge mærke til at de var beskidte. Derudover så var nogle af fliserne på badeværelset krakeleret så det så lidt slidt ud hvis man tænker på hotellets omdømme generelt betragtes som høj standard.

Good location and comfortable.

Outside windows were very very dirty. Had a nice view of the mountains if windows weren't so dirty.

The bed was wonderful!

It was a bit old and not so friendly reception staff. The spa closes at 8 pm too early! Had to pay separately for the gym and spa.

The room was warm.

I was there with a friend. I paid with my CC for the first night. I left after one night but my friend stayed for 2 extra nights. She somehow managed to book another night and purchase something using my CC. I never allowed that. I even told the people at the front desk NOT to use my CC when I leave. Never will I recommend you when I get nothing in return.

Really comfortable bed within a spacious room with a Mountain View. Fantastic selection for breakfast including separate items available when heading out before the breakfast slot. Spotlessly clean hotel and super friendly staff.

I feel room service and the service fee should be included in the booking fee. Iceland is expensive as it is, this really makes it hard to fully enjoy with that constant worry of being overcharged.

The staff - couldn't be more helpful

The double room we booked turned out to be a single occupancy made up for two. Was very small and not what we paid for. The food on New Years Eve was a complete waste of money - we ended up finishing that meal and leaving for another restaurant. Staff were amazing but room / food was dreadful.

It is close to the large public swimming pool. The buses to the old town are frequent and stops across the street. We didn’t get the breakfast buffet this time but if you are there for a longer time it is great value with lots of choices.

It was the holiday season and there are a lot of corporates parties which could be loud depending on ehich floors you are staying. We heard a lot of loud y talking til late into the evening

The employees were unfriendly and inflexible, old room which definitely did not correspond to the Hilton standard, queen size bed for 2 people and no toothbrush cups and no possibility to hang up the jackets

Excellent breakfast with a big choice of meals; excellent dinner and amiable staff in the restaurant; relaxing spa with two indoor hot tubs, one pool, steam cabin, sauna, and outdoor hot bath; Excellent quiet room on 8 floor with a good wide TV with installed Youtube, which can be used directly from the TV. It is a good location if You are travelling with a car.

Unfortunately, we could not order lunch through booking.com (e.g. to have the full board (FB) in the hotel).

The staff was exceptional. Hannah and Sigurgeir were particularly great, very informative and helpful - they provided excellent customer service. Every staff member we spoke with or asked anything of went above and beyond. We decided to pay extra (room rate) to include breakfast - breakfast was worth every penny. We also had access to the executive lounge - highly recommend! I was very impressed with this stay. I would book again! We rented a car and the location of the hotel was perfect as a home base location. And a cool small thing: the hotel has USB ports so you don't necessarily have to bring a country specific plug to charge electronics. Can't say enough about how impressed we were with our stay at Hilton Reykjavik Nordica - it really made our first trip to Iceland that much better! :)

24 hour room service would have been nice. They do provide cold snacks/sandwiches in the lobby 24/7. And the times were returned after midnight (after light hunting) Hannah helped us to order pizza which was delivered to the hotel. So, it wasn't awful that room service wasn't provided 24/7, it just would have been a bonus.
