Our stay at Flora's house was far beyond just "very good and comfortable." It was, as they say these days, a cultural experience. Highlights of our stay included: - Fantastic local meals cooked by Flora—both dinners and breakfasts. - The opportunity to light a fire in the fireplace, adding a cozy charm. - Exceptional wine from Andreas' local winery (we couldn’t resist taking a few bottles home). - Fresh, tranquil mornings and the ability to walk well-marked mountain trails. - An exceptionally warm welcome and engaging conversations with Andreas and Flora, whether over Greek coffee or during other moments of connection. Andreas, a former school physics teacher and principal, now runs a small farm and winery while also writing books—a truly inspiring individual. Flora charmed us with her sunny demeanor, exceptional cooking, and thoughtful care, making us feel right at home. On the "very good and comfortable" side: the house is modern, with flawlessly functioning facilities, a great kitchen, comfortable beds, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed the living room with the fireplace and the terrace. As many reviewers noted, the property is even better than the pictures. We sincerely hope our paths with Andreas and Flora cross again—it was an experience we’ll treasure.

Superb hosts and we were made to feel very welcome. The house was very clean, functional and tidy. My teenagers liked it so much they want to come again. Many trails and activities close by. Great for nature lovers.

This comment is about the village, not the accommodation.....there were no shops or restaurants open in Spillia to get food, coffee etc at the time of year we went. Plan for this in advance.

You pay extra for electricity and wood for the stove. If it is cold this might be expensive with the electric heating.

Our stay at Flora's house was amazing and relaxing. The hosts are very hospitable and wonderful people. The apartment was fully equipped with everything needed for the stay, warm and comfortable, also there was a delicious traditional breakfast. The location is exceptional: near the hotel, there is a forest path where we enjoyed a long walk and beautiful views. We would definitely visit Flora's house again. Thank you, Andreas and Lydia, it was a pleasure to meet you!

Very nice flat. Super nice, sympathic and helpful hosts. Large flat with two bedrooms and a cosy living room, not to mention the fully equipped kitchen. But best of all: Andreas and his wife!

Andreas und Flora are two wonderful people. The House is situated directly near the Madari Trail E4. It is a very nice and quite place to relax and Startsignal Point for Trails. There is a nice Terrasse With a view over the Garden and the Forest. Flora gave is Fredy fruits fron her Garden and Andreas showed us the Production of their vine.

Audentic stay with real Cypres people. Very nice hiking trails.

You have to be ready for pay extra for electricity and firewood

Andreas and Flora were perfect host's. It's a small village with lots of walking trails and close to the Troodos mountain ski runs, a perfect place as a base.

Andreas and Flora greeted us warmly, gaves us wonderful Cyprus coffee and home made cakes. Flora also cooked a fantastic traditional Chicken dinner and we really enjoyed a bottle of their own wine. We will definitely be back.
