A great price for a well located hotel. Very close to the Riccarton Mall. Nice and warm, very friendly staff. The room was nice and had a large bathtub. I would stay here again.

The staff was prompt and very polite. The location was excellent for my travel stay. Close to alot of hospitality amenities and within a five minute drive to the city centre. Tidy facilities, over all. And a we’ll priced room for two.

The window blinds were a bit shabby. And a tin can opener could have been supplied with the utensils.

It was great for purpose and the bed linen was clean but a bit grubby in places. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and it was quite noisy.

The price was okay for what you get. When we got in, it smelled of chlorine, like the indoor pools. Which I kinda liked tbh. But that only lasted a 20 mins so must have only just been cleaned. Room was of a decent size, beds were algs, kitchen was fine, water pressure in shower was great. the heating was good and had big windows/sliding door for cooling (was quite cold outside at the time). Staff were very friendly at least and it was next to a mall and grocery store. Everyday they bring new towels, bath mat, and hand towels. But that's where everything goes downhill

The cold water, when poured into a glass out of the kitchenette sink, came out cloudy and mirky, so go back in time 30 mins to pour the glass of water so it's clear for when you wanna drink it. Next, every morning there was condensation all over the windows and getting anything wet that came in contact. The precious lightbulb above the mirror in the bathroom was blown. The heated towel rail's bottom fixing was broken, so the whole thing was swinging round on the piss which was pretty hori. Then the toilet seat was completely cracked as someone before us assumed it was a softclose toilet seat but it slammed down and broke lmao. Room service could've been better, like actually empty the full rubbish bins and give us more toilet paper if you notice one day we're on the last roll instead of us getting halfway thru a crap and realising theres none left and having to ask for more. And providing face cloths would've been nice. Other than that it was algs.

This was our anniversary weeked so we paid the extra for a nice getaway and it wasnt good walked in to some pubic hair in bath and on the wall and trash in the bed side drawers, heated tiles that didnt work, the towel heater was missing a end cover leaving the heating elemnt expose which is a health and safety issue, pillows were flatter then pancakes, spa was way smaller then how it looked in the pictures and was dirty not only that the spa bubbles DIDNT turn on which was a huge disappointment as we paid extra for it, bed was horrible if u pay the extra price i dont want two single beds pushed together leaving a weird crack in the middle since one bed was a slightly different height, multiple plugs in the room did not work nor did the electric blanekt and the fridge smelled like spoiled milk which made me not want to put my shopping in. I HIGHLY do not recommend staying here for a nice getaway.

Great location. Lots of shops a short stroll away. Big walk to CBD but definitely doable.

Traffic noise really bad, could hear the occupants in the next room due to zero soundproofing in adjoining door. Very off putting. Room was very small by motel standards.

Location and room comfort are great. The spa bath is always appreciated, although we didn't get a chance to use it this time.

The fact that I LOST THE KEY 10 minutes after reception closed!! Luckily they were still there and answered the after hours. Another key in 5 minutes so crisis averted. (that part should really go in the positive comments)
