Can't say enough about this B&B. Rene and his family were so welcoming, helpful and lovely. We have made new friends. The room was comfortable, shower was warm and the location is great. Safe area with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Also a great breakfast. We will be staying here again if we are ever back in Valparaiso.

La Nona is centrally located near some of the best sites in town, and Renee will sit you down at the start of your stay and give you a detailed map and rundown of the town. He is a fantastic host with a lifetime’s worth of useful information about Valparaiso, the surrounding area, and greater Chile. He has connections all around Chile; this came in handy when we decided to book an ascent of Villarica Volcano in the south at the last minute. The rooms are quite large and lovely, and the breakfast spread, prepared each morning according to your plans by Renee, is impressively extensive. We felt very welcomed by Renee and his entire family and wish we could of spent more time with them.

Perfect place to find rest and good company in a warm atmosphere and located in a beautiful area of Valparaiso. The attention of its owners is excellent. The place is simple but full of meeting spaces and dedication in every detail of the hostel. Incredible experience from beginning to end.

Our stay was perfect. Rene was the best host and he taught us about Chile and Chilean culture. Further, the location is great! All in all, we cannot recommend this place enough.

René the owner is an amazing host with endless knowledge about the local area. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. He organised a wonderful wine tour for us and well as activities in our next destination.

This place was fantastic, we loved our stay here. It is located super close to the main touristic centre, and near some bus stops to Viña del Mar and other places in Valparaiso. The owners were very friendly and gave us lots of tips and information about where to go. The breakfast was delicious with many options, and the owners even went through extra effort to prepare a great vegan breakfast for us. The B&B itself was clean and felt very COVID-safe. Would recommend 100% and come back in any future trips to the city.
