We arrived quite early and could check-in in the morning already. Everything was clean, there‘s a lot of blankets for the cold nights and a warm shower. Perfectly located, close to the hostoric center and very affordable.

The living room area is not too cozy, but that is no big deal really.

Please first read "Don't like": After booking.com contacted the manager, the room boy and the manager excused themselves for the behaviour of the room boy. Just by insisting to receive a factura we received it. Ecuador is a poor country. Making black money won't help Ecuadorian society!

First of all, we booked an accommodation which offers laundry machines in the apartment. It was offered in booking.com advertisements. After checking in we saw it wasn't there. So we asked the room boy if we possibly received the wrong apartment. He answered that he doesn't want to keep us in the apartment anymore. We have to leave next morning . After I contacted booking.com because of that problem, I told the room boy, that we aren't going to leave. We have a booking contract and we want to continue our stay. Also booking.com contacted the manager of the apartment, to explain them to follow the rules. Just after asking for a valid "factura", we received it. The management offered us to pay without taxes, if we wouldn't need a receipt (factura). I am not and never willing to help for making black money. Everyone has to pay tax, it's a need for a functional honest society!

A great responsive and friendly owner and a huge apartment.

It's basic but it's big, well located and comfortable.

Good location between historic center and the Basilica. It had a nicely equipped kitchen. Access to washer and dryer.

Large apartment with large rooms. Extremely clean. Very helpful staff that seem reliable and friendly. Very good value for money. Feels secure. Great facilities.

There isn't much to do at night in the area. The floorboards are very squeaky throughout and this is difficult when people move around while others are asleep.
