When I arrived, I was told my booking was not valid as they were full so sadly didn’t get to stay there.

On arrival, I was told by email that they were full and didn’t accept my booking. As I was on my motorcycle I only read the message on arrival. No one came out to meet me, cold shoulder. Maybe they don’t like bikers or maybe not friendly, anyway, couldn’t find anywhere to stay in Burgersdorp so cracked on to Cradock at night on my motorcycle. I have powerful spot lights so could spot the game and drunk Africans in the road but it was not the safest road to travel at night on a bike, something not many people are aware of. Definitely don’t recommend Dekat for bikers or people who like to plan ahead.

Location was great, and owners very pleasant and friendly. The heated blankets were a bonus!

Gas shower was weak and not particularly hot, it needs to be worked on.

The owner is really lovely and nice. The location and the garden was really good and the parking and the area was safe.

The kitchen wasn’t equipped really well. There were no knives for cutting and the dishes and the whole accommodation wasn’t really clean.

Gas heater in the room is not a safe option, but we managed the risk
