I arrived extremely late, due to a late arrival of my flight at Schipol. It was almost midnight when I arrived. The owner of Zala's was extremely friendly and not angry at all at my late arrival. Very friendly reception. The room was very large with a nicely equiped bathroom just outside the door. The rooms gave onto the back garden and was very quiet while being centrally located.

It is ideally located in the city centre and the owner was super nice and welcoming.

The room was a bit cold for October.

The attic room is huge and vibey, with an en-suite bathroom, but up a small set of winding stairs. I loved it and wished I could stay longer. The host is super nice and generous. And you’re above a fancy French restaurant. Old school arrangement. Super cool.

Location

The apartment was decent, not worth the money. The host was not there. Literally we were accommodated alone in an apartment above a restaurant. However we never received the breakfast included in our booking.( we were told by some waiters that the host was away for holidays, we tried reach him both via email and phone- no response) and that is why we did not receive breakfast. Really poor experience.

Very nice place to stay

Very friendly staff. Room was extra large and very comfortable even though it was a very hot day. The host was very helpful and allowed me to store my bike safely on the property. The restaurant and bar looked very nice but unfortunately I didn’t have a booking. Good central location near the Dom and easy access to lots of shops, cafes and bars. I will be back.
