Amazing location.

Despite 3 complaints to Vacasa they did nothing to address the issues of cleanliness or absence of amenities promised and the fact we had to spend time out locating a purchasing a clothes iron and sent me a feedback form that I could only send back to them if I gave them and the property a five star review. They are very good at telling customers they are dealing with issues but spend no effort at putting things right. The property was not clean. There was no iron as promised. The wiring in the premises was unlikely to comply with any type of health and safety requirement and we felt presented a health hazard. This was a real shame as with a bit of love the property could be amazing.

A truly unique rental in a beautiful location - large eclectic library and wood paneling, comfortable seating nooks, small but well supplied and clean kitchen, washer and dryer a big plus, lots a towels etc. WIFI & internet connections fine, walking distance to Front Beach and town (~ 15 min for me ) Loved the rural feel of the yard and pathway from the drive with garden and wild flowers in a relaxed mix. So much enjoyed having breakfast or just reading under the huge white poplar overlooking the bay.

Our only real issue was the narrow entrance to the steep driveway flanked by two granite posts. Having a large rental car didn't help. Minor quibbles - surprised there was no cutting board in the otherwise well supplied kitchen, also that the dresser drawers were mostly full of linens. I prefer the odor of old books to Febreze so shut all the deodorant canisters ASAP.

Quiet and kind of isolated from everything

Charming old house in great location! Ocean at the doorsteps, walk to two beaches and town. Loved seeing ocean out the windows on chilly morning. Feels like the house has a story, filled with old books and random things, artwork by the local painter. Charming overgrown garden filled with sweet smells. Also, very private!

Really uncomfortable bed!!! It is ether bed or the whole house is slanted and I kept rolling to one side. Serious cobwebs everywhere, on every light fixture in every corner, hanging from the ceiling in the bedroom. The house has one old AC window unit in second living room, none in the bedrooms and as they don't face the ocean, not much breeze. A good number of fans though. Some lights didn't work. Rented for two nights, but stayed only one. Couldn't imagine to sleep there second night.

The view from the cottage is outstanding. We were lucky enough to watch a full moon rising! The location is very private. The landscaping made it feel like we were in a secluded area. The photos of the cottage are very accurate. It is a charming place to stay. I would love to stay there again.

The driveway entrance is very narrow and hard to spot. To safely pull out you need to have a person stand at the end of the driveway to let you know it's safe to pull onto the street.

Location, and authenticity of the property.

Beds weren’t updated. That makes a huge difference.
