I love how clean the whole property was. Our room was nice and comfy. The staff was very helpfull and kind. They hv free flow water, coffee and snacks.

The bathroom area was too small. Shower door cant be close fully so you would expect water going all over the floor. For 3 days when we stayed, every morning there was a loud noise coming from the temple nearby.

Lovely period property, right in the heart of Keong Saik Road. Close to bars and restaurants, as well as the MRT.

The rooms are miniscule, but that is probably to be expected from a shophouse. My only real issue!

Very warm, professional and helpful staff! Good location. Environmentally friendly. Very comfortable with many nice small details (coffee machine, refillable bottles of water of three types, nice green balcony near kitchen, etc.).

A little bit too loud in the hallway. Late at night and early morning people were behaving like at home without thinking that there are other people in the hotel. Also, I got to know that will get a room without window after the booking was done. It would be nice next time to know it in advance. When informed, I might have paid more and chosen a room with window.

There was a bit of a stale smell throughout the corridors, could do with some really good ventilation/ maybe room spray or somehow getting a nice scent running through the building. The rooms are nice and cosy but they really are very small - not the most ideal space if you have lots of luggage!

We knew we were getting a small room, but that there was no window wasn’t clear during the booking process. Looking at the current property description page, I saw that it now prominently mentions that some rooms have no windows—I guess we were not the only ones who “missed” that minor detail while booking Kesa house earlier in the year. The AC is on way too high; the cleaners would leave the temperature set at 16 Celsius, which is ridiculously cold! It is also very cold in the lobby and communal areas, there is such a thing as too much AC. There is a communal kitchen, which sometimes makes it feel as if you’re staying at a fancy hostel for millennial tech yuppies. Had I known what I know, I would chosen a more comfortable 4* hotel.

Location was good and better than expected. The area is very cool and you have both buses and metro nearby. Also, the staff is very friendly which enhances the overall experience. Moreover, they are very flexible and sympathetic in case of delays (which was our case). Cleaning wise I would give it a 10! Also the complementary coffee water and biscuits are a nice touch :)

Maybe the sound insulation was not the best as I could hear people outside and people from next rooms. It is not a major thing, but the size of the rooms.

Excellent facilities, free tea, coffee,water and nibbles all day. Beautiful kitchen. Rooms extremely comfortable, we loved the bed and huge TV, as we'd been travelling for months. Our favourite hotel of our travels for comfort. Excellent cafe nearby - called the social. Sheer bliss. So close to train station and system so easy to use.

Location great, on edge of Tanjong Pagar and Chinatown. Short walk to MRT and couple of food centres, also plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff very friendly. Free coffee throughout stay which was a bonus.

I liked this property from start to finish. The staff were super helpful. There was clearly a desire to please and careful thought had been put into the property. The 2nd floor lounge, drinks and kitchen area were indicative. The neighbourhood is a gem - really good to explore on foot.

A beautiful quaint building on the exterior. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Our room was spotless and altho small there was plenty of room for suitcases, hanging and other storage. Bathroom was great with large shower area. It was all very secure. The kitchenette was also spotless, and a great facility to have your own food. Tea and coffee provisions plentiful and a roomy sitting area for laptop use etc. TV had plenty of options. Great location near Maxwell MRT and also Maxwell's Food Court (Hawkers market) also a 2inute walk to Outram Park MRT for easy travel to Changi Airport. In Chinatown and close to great coffee shops. Loved this place!

My Room was small not enough room for 2 medium suitcases. Bathroom had large step 200 mm big step up to very small on suite. Shower was also very small not for big tall people.

Such a cozy little place to stay. Despite the room size being quite small, it was comfortable, clean, and a quiet place to stay. Lovely location as well, easy for getting around on the metro, and lots of good food options near by. The staff were very pleasant and warm during our stay. They were so kind when we were leaving to hold the umbrella for us as we got into the taxi, because it was heavily raining. Would definitely be back!

The room is very good. We booked a deluxe room. The ceiling of the room has a window. The light that penetrates makes the room inviting. The room size is not big but can live. The queen bed was comfortable. one side against the wall In summary, I really like the room. The Location is great, right in front of the Potato Head. Many famous restaurants nearby including Tong Ah Eating House, Kok Sen, Shake Shack, Birds of Paradise, and Bearded Bella.

The room door cannot be locked. Since the first night Informed and did not fix until the third night. Finally, the female employee said that it was because of us who opened the door too hard. The words of the staff is totally unacceptable. No door in this earth should lockable only if we push it softly. I am dissatisfied, so the staff offered a taxi to the airport on the last day as an apology. In addition, the light went out for about 2 seconds and immediately turned on. All about 30-40 times the second night. And every time the lights go out The air conditioner was also turned off. The room was hot, couldn't sleep and there is also a loud clicking sound when it turned off, so had to report to the front. But the lady staff at the front is very helpful. Call an engineer immediately. In summary, the incident that night can be solved. But waiting to fix from 23.30-01.00
