This house is BIG! We had 9 adults and never felt crowded. One of the best stocked kitchens we ever stayed at. Beds comfy, towels good. Bathrooms spacious. 2 Living spaces but each one is big and lots of seating. Hot tub. Huge garage two cars can fit and not worry about door dings. Snow was not conducive to ski in ski out but i think you have to be expert based on what we could figure out. Good location to mountain and town GREAT HOUSE!

We have been coming to Steamboat for years in the winter but this time decided on a summer golf trip. I couldn't have asked for a better location on the outskirts of the condo areas. The home was amazing, clean, and ready to have us. The kitchen is ready for as many meals as you can throw at it if you aren't looking to go out to eat every night! We will definitely be using this property again for our future summer and winter trips to the Boat!

Great house to take with a group of friends or extended family! Tons of space and amenities. The view is incredible. Can be tough to get to when there is a lot of snow, so you must have 4 wheel drive. There was a small issue with the toilet in which they told us the person to contact and we never got a response.

Everything was amazing about this home. We loved the hot tub, pool table and foosball table. The master bed was super comfy.

Great property, fantastic views, great location to ski lifts and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Our group had a great experience from start to finish- good communication with the property management team and the house is perfect for those looking to take family/friends skiing. Really enjoyed the layout of the home as well. Loved our trip and would seek out this property again.

We recently stayed here for a week and we also got incredibly lucky with snow. The house was perfect to accommodate my friends and family of 9. The view out of the front windows were incredible and having about 2 feet of snow was an added bonus! We did have to wash one set of sheets that had stains but other than that no other problems. Getting up to the house was a bit tricky with snow but we all had 4wd vehicles luckily. Overall, this place was very relaxing and quiet at night in that neighborhood

Property was perfect for our group of 4 families while we were in town for my daughters wedding nearby. Immaculate and such a fantastic layout for a group.

This property is great for big groups! We came in mid-June for a 40th birthday celebration and the weekend was everything we hoped for. The game room was so much fun! The property is private so we were able to play music and get a little wild without having to worry about any neighbors. One thing the listing didn't mention is that the hot tub is a 6 person tub, which was great for our large group! Everyone was very impressed and we highly recommend this place! We will be back to defend our foosball championship!

The house is very large and accommodated our extended family. That being said, we had several issues with cleanliness, uncomfortable furniture and dangerous front steps where the pave stones are loose. Overall the house was just a disappointment. The fact that we had to clean the chairs, fire pit, around the hot tub and climb over the loose steps to the front door everyday is something I didn’t appreciate. All these issues have been submitted to management and they promised to address them.

We loved our stay at this property. It was just two sets of adults (one from Montana and one from Colorado). So, we had more than enough room. We were in Steamboat Springs for a winter vacation (our first since the Covid pandemic). There are so many things that we liked about this property and we'll list those first Garage: Lots of room for two vehicles. We could drive in with our rooftop carrier on. Plenty of room for our snowshoes, skis, poles, etc. Mudroom: Large for all of our coats, hats, gloves, shoes, boots, etc. Bedrooms and bathrooms: Plentiful. The beds were very comfortable. Hot tub: Plenty of room for four people. Very clean. Kitchen and dining: Both are large. All kitchen items needed are supplied. Just needed our own food, spices, and condiments. TVs: Most have remotes and streaming services. Entertainment: Pool table, ping pong, dominos, and more. Laundry: This is a separate, large room. The washer and dryer worked great. Lots of room for folding too. Master bathroom: Large with dual sinks, a large soaking tub, and an awesome rain shower. Plenty of hot water. Decks: Small one on front with grill and an amazing view of the Steamboat Springs valley. Small one on back has room for at least four along with a fire feature. The maintenance service was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. Now what we didn't like... When we arrived the steps to the front door where you need to go through with the code were loose and quite a safety hazard. The code didn't work on the door. They are working through issues there. We were able to get in through the garage after getting a hold of the caretaker service. There were well over a dozen bulbs out (probably closer to 20) that we had to call and have taken care of. The ping pong table was missing a net, had only one ball and, all paddles were broken. The back deck where the hot tub is was full of snow and you couldn't use the furniture or fire feature and we could barely make it to the hot tub. There were a number of other things but, we won't list them all. What was great was the maintenance service (thank you, Andrew!). They came the next day and took care of everything. The sad part is that this ate up a decent amount of our time. We are paying for a premier property rental and everything should be great and ready to use when you arrive for your vacation.

Everything about this property was better than expected. Very nice balcony with a gas grill overlooking the valley. Extremely spacious. Very well stocked kitchen. Everything was clean and in working order. Hot tub steps outside was wonderful after a long day on the mountain. Game room with foosball, pool table is a nice touch and good area for kids (and me lol) Property is not on a shuttle route. Rental car recommended. Ubers/Lyfts/GoAlpine taxi- not reliable.

We stayed at the Emerald Chalet mountain house the week of February 5th through the 12th. We have made many previous trips to Steamboat throughout the years but this was our first time renting a mountain home. This house was perfect for our group of 9 ranging in age from 2 to 67 and was everything it was advertised to be. It was beautifully decorated but also very kid friendly. There was lots of room to spread out so we never felt cramped. The kids loved the downstairs area where they could play with their legos, trains, and super heroes without cluttering up the upstairs living room. The home was well equipped with everything you might need for cooking. The laundry room, appliances, and hot tub were all well maintained and were excellent additions to a well thought out home. Our only problem was that the advertised shuttle to and from the slopes had been discontinued and we were not made aware of this until 10 days before our trip. We did manage to rent a couple of cars at the last minute. Angie, with the management company, was especially understanding of the inconvenience and expense this last minute change caused us. We were even refunded the cost of one of the cars after our return home. We are very grateful to her as well as the management company for working with us and to the owners for allowing us to rent this wonderful home. Finally, a word about other amenities of the area. Our daughter and her husband hired Steamboat Nannies to babysit their 2 and 4 year old while the rest of the group skied. With the exception of one snafu for an adults only dinner when the sitter didn't show, the daytime sitters were excellent and well liked by the kids. We would highly recommend this home to any extended family or large group.

Our party of 11 had a fantastic time at this property. It was spacious, well equipped, and had lots of perks to make our trip memorable. (Heated floors are a game changer!) The kitchen was incredible, actually well stocked with spices and tons of counter space, storage space, refrigerator space, everything you could need. The heated garage had our cars and ski boots ready for the slopes in the morning. Perfect for a mountain vacation!

Spent about a week here with our friends and kids. We love Steamboat and everything it has to offer. The house blew us away when we first walked in. Vaulted log ceilings and woodwork throughout really gave it an authentic ambiance. Plenty of room to spread out, light a fire, cook a few meals, enjoy coffee and tremendous views on the balcony, a private hot tub time machine, and overall decompress which is what we all did. We have stayed at many VRBO properties, but this one will be placed as a top contender in all of our books. Thank you for the stay!

This home is wonderful and the views are incredible! The layout fit our needs perfectly and was spacious enough for everyone to spread out when needed. The home checks all the boxes for sure. There are some small issues that need to addressed and are easily correctable. Mostly cleaning services and oversight with the management company to make sure the home is stocked properly, in working order and some updates to the worn and broken furniture. Overall our stay was very memorable and we had a great time!

We loved this house! The amount of space was wonderful! Our 6 year old son loved the spa and the game room! The game room was a blast and we spent a ton of time in there. Wonderful spa. The kitchen was a dream to cook in and I loved that it had a pantry for all of our food. The bedrooms all had their own bathrooms which is very rare to find. Also, I don't think it says handicap accessible, however, my mom is handicapped and if she was able to come with us this trip, the bedroom and bathroom located on the first floor would have been perfect for her, so if you have someone that has a hard time climbing stairs, this is the perfect house for you!

The home is exactly what you would hope for a mountain rental for a family group. Spacious, well stocked, perfect decor, plenty of bedrooms, game room, HOT TUB! You could not ask for more amenities! (STAIRS, should be noted for those with challenges but most mountain rentals have them.) Overall, my family continually RAVED about how wonderful this rental was! The management was VERY RESPONSIVE! The views wonderful! Anyone would be fortunate to stay here. We highly recommend this rental and would hope to stay here again. The value was excellent for the rental fee. ( the driveway is steep to enter but was still surprisingly easy to navigate.)

This house was perfect for our family gathering. The house is perfectly appointed with practically every necessity. It was large enough to house my kids and their kids comfortably. Besides being beautiful it was comfortable. Lots of room to spread out or sit together. The property manager was accommodating and very helpful. Thank You so much Matthew!

This was an awesome house, and perfect for our group. The bedroom configuration, with all king size beds, was ideal. We had a problem with the wi-fi when we first arrived, but the property manager was able to quickly take care of it. Overall we highly recommend!

This house is incredible! Each bedroom has a king size bed, which is a rare treat. It's well maintained, very clean, a kitchen that has all you need and more to cook (plenty of silverware), beautiful views, and super friendly property manager.

Our family gathered here from 3 states for a long weekend. We range in age from 90 to 2 months. The house is as described in the listing. Plenty of room for gathering and there is a very large dining table for family meals. The beds comfortable and the adjoining baths are very convenient. I would recommend this house. Property manager Matt was very responsive and easy to work with

We had a group of skiers/boarders at this house for a week, and it exceeded our expectations! Matt was very helpful and responsive, and the discounted lift tickets were a big plus. We would definitely try to stay here again if we come back to Steamboat!

Location is good, with beautiful view of the town. Home is comfortable for our large family. With its age like everything this last visit we found the home is in need of some minor TLC. I was told the owners are coming soon, so hopefully the obvious things will be attended to. Overall it’s a 4.5 star home.

Our trip was great. The house is beautiful and well furnished. We all enjoyed the pool table and was a gathering room for our family. The dining room table accommodated our group of 11 which was great for meals and games. The only issue we had was the ice machine didn’t produce ice and was leaking but we ran to the store and purchased ice so not a big deal. I reported this to Matthew who met us at checkin time. He was very nice, informative and welcoming. He even came and helped us when we couldn’t get Netflix to work. It was a perfect thanksgiving setting and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a big dinner. Thank you!

5 Stars for everything! My family had an amazing time at this beautiful, well-kept home! It was the perfect mountain getaway and we could not have had a better experience! The communication between everyone was wonderful too. We would definitely come back here again!

Our original reservations had to be cancelled because of a gas leak, so we books this house on short notice. This most like contributed to our communication problems with the management company. However, the management company didn't seem to have everything under control. Too many things didn't work that the management company didn't know about. We had to wash sheets, clean up, etc. The owner needs to fix up the house and should perhaps consider another management company.

We had a great experience with this rental.
