Absolutely fabulous accommodation in a beautiful little village.
We had booked for 2 nights but extended for an extra night as it was love at first sight.

It was spacious, lovely decor and in a great location. The views are beautiful.
The hallway is quite dark as the light takes a while to come on. The bed was rather firm but this is a personal preference.

We were looking for a clean, spacious, central self-catering apartment for two as a base for exploring the area and meeting up with family. Postman's Knock met all our expectations and more. The apartment has everything you might need for cooking your own meals (the sea view from the kitchen and front room was wonderful!), yet there are plenty of places to eat out on your doorstep. The settee's were comfortable, light and airy front room, spotless kitchen, cosy bedroom. Having a place to park your car so close was very convenient, and within a few steps from the apartment was a pasty shop, fudge shop, art gallery, fish and chip shop, cafe's, crazy golf, park, river walk and the sea. Highly recommended.
Nothing related to the flat. We had read that there was not a supermarket in Lynmouth and brought our own ingredients to cook meals for the two of us. It was a pleasant surprise to find milk, tea, coffee and scones, cream and jam left by the apartment owners. If you do plan to eat in then do bring cereals, pasta etc as the nearest shop we found (Londis) was in Lynton. Plenty of places closeby in Lynmouth to eat out, including a cafe that served pizzas in the evening a few steps away.

Location was ideal, central to all amenities and beauty spots. The attention to detail was faultless including a cream tea for us and welcome gift for our dog on arrival.

Great communication from the host, everything was easy and hassle free.
The apartment was located in a great place, and it was very comfortable and had everything you needed.
Only minor but the only downside was the shower, it wasn’t powerful. I was jealous of my friends staying in the apartment above us.

Excellent location and facilities. Very close to restaurants, pubs the sea and shops. A real delight to stay in this property in this lovely little town. We will definitely be back.

A lovely quiet apartment in a great location. Very comfortable with everything I needed for a break away. I was advised on the morning of my arrival that there was scaffolding outside as the windows were being replaced but it didn't detract from the lovely view of the sea. Lots to see and do in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nice touch leaving us the home made scones, jam and cream and appreciated the milk for a cup of tea in the morning, thanks. The apartment is lovely, very nice decor and comfortable sleep. Great to have the parking space with the booking of the apartment.

Great location with great views. The property was to a very high standard with everything you could possibly need. All top quality. We loved the dining table view of the sea. Easy access to the coastal path for some great walks. Having a private parking spot was a real bonus. A great place to stay.

We liked the location, the view and the fact that parking was very close by. The owners responded to text messages immediately and were very helpful. Everything was very clean.
We were unlucky in that for 2 days we couldn't use wifi because it stopped working on Tuesday but we went out for most of the day and when we heard the next morning that the other flat had issues it couldn't be fixed immediately as the router is apparently in the shop below which wasn't open on Wednesdays so couldn't be sorted before we left on Thursday morning. However, once again, the owners were responsive throughout and it didn't spoil our stay and we would certainly consider a return visit.

Spacious and clean with modern and comfortable furniture. Ideally situated with a pleasant view. This lovely apartment was well equipped. Decor and accessories were well thought out and all high quality. Our host responded quickly to text messages and the lovely welcome of Devon cream tea was delightful.

The interior design of the flat was very attractive, and the harbour-front location was the perfect starting-point and ending-point for evening walks. The kitchen/dining-room was well supplied and the adjacent sitting-room comfortable and spacious. The adjacent car-parking space was extremely convenient.
No serious gripes at all. One small suggestion: some detailed instructions on how to operate the kitchen equipment and the television would have been helpful.
