the property is run by very friendly and easy going people.. our room had a balcony with a sea view and the sounds of nature.. there’s free access to the kitchen.. the property is about 30 min walk to the centre but there’s a local bus that will take you there via the beachfront side. lovely stay overall

This reminds me of how i used to live. It's sort of out in the middle of nowhere, but just minutes from the City. I absolutely loved it and wouldn't consider anywhere else when i stay in Santander again (it's isolated situation might not suit everyone). Nice big comfy room with a view and access to a balcony. Exploring the nooks and crannies in the vicinity was right up my street. Great hospitality and value for money.

A very minor criticism . It was awkward getting the wifi code from the back of the wifi box in the owner's kitchen. It would have been simpler for the owners to have it ready on a slip of paper to hand to guests that request it. Apart from this, I couldn't fault it.

At our arrival the host was not there. The communication was only in Spanish which we hardly speak. After some time they found out that we had a valid reservation which had been paid for. Unfortunately they had planned to replace the kitchen during our stay, but they worked at it mainly in the late evening and in the night. So hardly a good nights rest. Only the service during breakfast was very polite but breakfast was very minimalistic. A no go for us next time.

Wonderful greeting, set in a beautiful building with sea views from the garden.

The friendliest hosts you could ask for. We arrived late so all restaurants were closed but within 10 minutes ws were served a beautiful omelette made by one of the staff members. Our dog was also made to feel very welcome.
