We've stayed at carolina winds many times over the pass 15 + years. All the rooms We've stayed in have been excellent. Well kept. Clean and everything worked. The pools and spa always clean.

Everything has always been great staying at carolina winds. There are no dislikes.

The location is great.

My room was not updated. The furniture, beds, curtains, kitchen, and bathroom need to be replaced. The room smelled old and musty probably because it hasn't been updated since it was built. It was disappointing because I've stayed here before, but in a room that was actually nice. It's in a perfect location so it's a shame that it's not being managed well. I will look around for another place next time.

Liked the AC unit. It worked great. liked the balcony. the bedspreads were beautiful

the Cleanliness of the room was not good. There was old coffee stains..kinda wet still...under the coffee pot..when you pull it out on the counter you could see where coffee was not cleaned from under the machine. there was a dead smooched bug between my bed and the bedside table....i bet its there forever. Paying $500 a night I expected luxury...I got mediocre... the mirror had been busted and then glued back into it's frame and it was done terribly..could see a huge ribbon of old dried glue. there was still a small pile of sand on the arm rest of the nice chair when we got there, there was not a single rug on any floor...not even by the doors or bed. Sand is everywhere and that's to be expected...welcome even...but there needs to be some way to wipe it off of your feet before you climb in the bed. the bed was not comfortable and every time you moved it made a lot of noise. There was a loud thumping noise in the wall of the bathroom. It was not audible from the bedroom.
