I had originally book another location with Stacey however I was notified months ago that I would need to change. This was one of 3 locations suggested. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and flexible space this was the winner I Stacey stayed in touch and went above and beyond to make our day and event a success

I needed a place to entertain a few friends while in town and this place was perfect. The house was stocked with everything you would need and each bedroom had its own private bathroom which was very nice. We all really enjoyed it and hope to go back soon.

Perfect little house for families and fur babies! We really enjoyed our trip to Raleigh for the USA Baseball NTIS Champions Cup. Our boys loved the loft space. We grilled out one night and loved coffee on the front porch swing in the mornings. The house is very well equipped if you prefer to prepare meals at home vs. going out. Lots of bright natural light. Cozy home away from home! Hoping we can get this place again next year and many years after for the USA baseball trips!

We flew in for the weekend to attend a wedding. There were two separate areas to relax inside along with very comfortable bedrooms. The clean crisp white and aqua decor made us feel like we were on vacation while having all we needed to feel at home. The host was responsive & accommodating to our requests. Thanks again!

A wonderful location near restaurants and NC State! You’ll find the home’s clever design both functional and beautiful with a calming palette and eclectic light fixtures. Loved all the well thought out details. Owner is very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a charming home in an ideal location! My daughter & I spent the weekend during college visits. We ate well, did yoga & orangetheory -all nearby- and enjoyed our downtime at the house. This would be ideal for a girls’ weekend too. I already miss it & want to come back!!!

The Family & dog visited our student at NC State. Very close to campus, PNC arena, & shops/dining. Owner was very responsive, and immediately addressed a hvac service issue. We all enjoyed our stay.

In town for the week on business with an employee. After working 10 hour days, it was a great place to stretch out, make dinner, work on my computer and relax before the next work day.

We enjoyed our stay at Heart of the City. The house was just as cute as pictured, and the host was very thoughtful and easy to work with. The only drawback was the noise from the busy road, but they did have a sound machine in one of the rooms to help with that. We enjoyed our stay.

From the start Stacey was a great communicator. She was so helpful. The house was fully stocked with cooking supplies. Lots of space. Rooms were spacious.

The host, who is also a decorator, has made this very relaxing space and has added many special touches which make it feel like a resort. Nice bathroom toiletries and towels, a Brita for water, throw blankets, etc. The town is fun to walk around and it is easy to get to the college. Highly recommend.

I've been needing a place to stay in Raleigh when I take my dog to NCSU vet school for evaluation and treatment. This property has worked out so well for us. I stay in a lot of rental places throughout the year and the biggest issue I have with properties is that they often are not clean. This place is spotless. I will definitely be booking again!

We had a great stay at this house! Super cute and comfortable with everything we needed, like a home away from home. Excellent location, with great proximity to all that Raleigh has to offer. Super helpful host, everything was smooth and easy!

We felt right at home in this beautifully-decorated, charming home in the heart of Raleigh! The house is beautifully decorated and so very comfortable, you won't want to leave. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our fur baby, and we felt like we were close to everything - dining, shopping and entertainment. Everything about this house is designed to make it feel like home!!

My husband and I (and our 1 year old puppy) had a wonderful and relaxing stay in Stacy's home while visiting our son who lives in downtown Raleigh. This house was absolutely perfect for us - just as adorable as the pictures show, tons of homey and comfortable touches, and very thoughtfully and practically outfitted. Though situated on a high traffic street, the completely fenced yard gave us privacy and a sense of security with our dog, and road noise was minimal (almost like white noise). The surrounding neighborhood, especially to the north and east, are walkable and beautiful. The location is also perfect, within 5-10 minutes of almost anything you'd want to do in Raleigh, and easy access to the highway. We've rented a lot of homes over many years, and this one was one of the best. For example, a full spice drawer, lots of oils and seasonings in the pantry, plenty of cleaning supplies, aluminum foil, ziploc bags, etc. - all things you hate to have to go and buy when you arrive when you know you won't use much. Stacy really put thought into how people live while on vacation - closets are well organized, lots of hooks for towels, jackets, leashes, etc. We would absolutely stay here again!

Stacy’s home was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. It’s in a great, centrally located neighborhood in Raleigh that was convenient for all of our events. We had plenty of space for our family and our teenage son loved the upstairs suite! We will definitely be back!

Compliments to Stacy on a well-appointed home. We have stayed in several rentals over the last dozen years and 2929 Wade ranks at the top, especially for our needs: my husband and I dropping off our newly minted freshman at NCSU. The extra touches: the wine, the popcorn, the fresh-cut clippings around the house, local Raleigh magazine, throw blankets, travel shampoo-conditioner-shower gel, the dog water bowls, all go to show that Stacy thought out this house very well. House is close to nice markets such as Harris Teeter, not too far from the Harmony Health Food store, downtown, and about 2-miles to NCSU. There’s a lovely walking path just across the street on Banbury that parallels a babbling stream through the residential neighborhood. We made all our breakfasts in the house and some additional lunches and a dinner. Kitchen equipment is ample and there are some leftover oils, vinegars, condiments, etc from previous guests which is helpful. Refrigerator was very clean. There is no ice-maker but we bought a bag when we did our grocery run. We did not bring our dogs on this trip but property has a nice high fence surrounding it to keep the pups safe when they go outside. All three bathrooms have lots of hot water and are comfortable. Master bedroom has a walk-in closet which has several hangers and extra drawers. A few items to note: 1) as others have written, house is on busy Wade Ave so if you’re a light sleeper like I am, make sure to bring ear plugs. I did and they did the trick. 2) Upstairs area, while lovely, comfortable, and cozy, doesn’t have a lot of privacy from downstairs noise, so anyone sleeping up there may want to bring earplugs and an eye-mask to block out the light from the window. There is one portable fan one could also use to help block sounds from downstairs. 3) As noted above, there is no ice maker. Perfect for 5-day visit to Raleigh for someone looking for a home base. House is sunny, comfortable, and feels very homey and happy. 100% recommend this house if you’re tired of hotels. We’ve already rented the house 2 more times later this year and can’t wait to come ‘home’. Brava and thank you Stacy!

This home is just wonderful: well decorated; well equipped; great bed; super clean; large walk-in closet; and although it is on a busy road, it is quiet, serene, and most comfortable inside. I highly recommend staying here. I would rent this home again in a heartbeat!

Rented this property for my wedding weekend and had a wonderful time! It was the perfect quaint little home for my girls and I to get ready and a cozy place for me and my husband to stay the next night! There was a water issue the first night but Stacy replied incredibly quickly and it didn’t interrupt our stay too heavily. The only downside was that none of the rooms had ceiling fans, but we cracked the bedroom windows at night for better air flow. Can easily fit 4 cars in the driveway if multiple people are staying.

This was the absolute perfect place for our girls weekend while celebrating a bride to be. The decor was so cute and the house was stocked with everything we could need. We were able to enjoy relaxing breakfasts in the bright kitchen and living area and also had easy access to the city with delicious restaurants and bars. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable base while exploring the city!

Often the traffic was extremely loud so we could not use the yard or even open the windows. In addition, I thought we would be able to walk to the stores and restaurants of Cameron Village but the roads were just too steep and no sidewalks. The location is good my car but definitely not by foot. I think it is important to note this and description of the home moving forward. The owner was very communicative and super helpful. I have no complaints about the home at all except for the loud location.

This property was exactly how it was billed. The beds were soo comfy with high end linens. All of the appliances were clean and in good working order. We are a family of chefs & the kitchen was set up with everything needed. Stacy was quick to respond to any questions we came up with. This is definitely a spot we would rent again.

Location was great. Cost less than $10 to Uber to all convention venues we were attending. House felt very homey and we used the kitchen during the entirety of our stay. Owner Stacy was quick to respond to any questions I had before and during our stay. We would stay again if it wasn't so far from Hawaii. Thank you!
