A few items we found that could be improved...the upstairs family room and patio upholstered furniture had a good amount of stains....very dirty. I'd recommend cleaning or replacing, the showers upstairs were dirty (hair/mold) and the downstairs (ground level) area smelled very musty and a little damp. Overall, I'd recommend this property.

Our experience had some negatives as the a/c was not functioning properly when we arrived and the property owner had multiple a/c companies coming by the house all throughout 2 days of our trip which was very inconvenient. They did not make the repairs to the a/c until the last day of our trip. So it was very warm in the house, especially mid summer. We were given a one night stay reimbursement thankfully but were still frustrated with the situation.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was great and we loved the location. The house was well equipped but the patio was pretty dirty upon our arrival (old water bottles on the ground, dirt and leaves everywhere). We also found some dead bugs inside. We wished the towels and beach toys were easier to find, and that they had a Keurig. However overall we were happy with our stay and would stay there again.

They have built-in areas for hanging clothes and suitcases. My reason for noting this is my niece had planned to put the pack n play in the bunk room closet but she ended up putting it in the laundry room. The other 2 bedrooms do have closets. The family room is very comfortable with a sectional, 2 chairs and a nice dining table. The owner also has a cabinet with adult/children's games and puzzles. The outdoor space has seating, bar table/chairs, dining table/chairs, gas grill and 2 very comfortable chair swings. The house was well-appointed with nice bedroom linens, appliances, plenty of dishes, blowdryers in each bath and lots of beach towels for our use.

We ended up having some bad luck with the dishwasher and washer breaking during our stay. I don't think this was neglect, but rather bad timing. Cinnamon Shores tried to fix both but each appliance needed parts which could not be obtained during our stay. The owners were gracious and gave us compensation for the inconvenience. CS manager, Amber, personally took our clothes one day and washed them for us! So sweet! My only recommendation to the owners or information for renters is that there are no microwavable bowls/service ware for a group and there was only 1 kitchen towel and 1 kitchen wash cloth. These two things are definitely not deal breakers but worth noting. The house was well-appointed, and we would definitely stay here again!

We were frustrated that certain important appliances did not work properly. The heat on the dishwasher may not be working, that was what we figured when the grease was not cut on the dishes, the soap never dispersed properly and the dishes were never dry. Also, the microwave was non-functioning. A maintenance man brought us a spare but it took up precious counter space. We had a toilet that needed to be fixed twice during our stay. We also saw 3 roaches, one on the couch, one in the master bedroom and one in the dishwasher. Also, we probably wouldn't stay right in the middle of the community, especially with the 4th of July late-night activity. Our neighbors in the condos next door played loud music and the golf carts blaring music went on past 11:00 on the 4th and 5th.

The pools, beach set up with umbrellas, golf cart and boardwalk access to the beach, movies on the lawn, fabulous restaurant on property, private Chef Fred available for booking and the list goes on! LegaSea is a gorgeous property that we plan to return to! The staff at Cinnamon Shore was readily accessible and helpful in all areas. Highly recommend to all.

Reviewer Comments: beds comfortable/ air condition vgood/ couldn't get dvd to work in main living area. had to go downstairs. master BR toilet clogged once and we had to call maintenance. the outside trash can was full when we got there. dishwasher was not fully working. there were 4 dead roaches we picked up. the out door chairs were not clean. the floors were not clean cause bottom of our socks would get dirty quickly. the grill was left dirty so we didn't feel comfortable using. fridge and other appliances good. plenty of room for our golf carts and vehicles. we lost our key and were charged 50 bucks . so don't lose your keys umbrellas on beach were a little to close together for our liking. had a great vacation. weather was perfect and no mosquitos this year. planning on returning for 3rd year in a row next year but will probably get newer house. cleaning crew needs more time to clean in between rentals here . liked the new Dylans and we liked the pools and new cabanas. we wouldn't recommend this house to a friend but we recommend CShores all the time.

We have stayed at CS 3 other times and this is our favorite home. However the wedding was very disrupting. A loud wedding with rowdy guests was an issue last year too. This year the very loud music and DJ went until 12:20 and left trash all over. Plus we didn't have access to the keira's pool and other areas due to set up and take down. The houses are consistently great but these weddings are making myself and other families we travel with reconsider staying again. Being in the middle of a bustling wedding venue isn't exactly a serene family vacation.

Overall we like the layout of the house - it works for our family. My biggest complaint is that the house needs a major cleaning from top to bottom. The furnishings - bed and decorative pillows, bedding, slipcovers and seating - all need a major cleaning. This is an expensive property to rent for a week at the beach. We were told that there was a new owner this year, after Hurricane Harvey and the new owner had completely redone the property - I would take exception to this statement. No evidence of a redo. Also, after the hurricane there is a roach problem on the first floor of the house that needs to be addressed. I would only recommend this property to a friend after letting them know the concerns I have addressed above.

Octagon Fishin is a gorgeous well appointed beach home with a great view and access to Colby Lake and the beach. Home had everything we needed to spice and cook.
We rented a golf cart and had beach chairs placed on the beach. It was nice to be able to travel to the beach and a bit up and down the beach. Not to mention the property. Having them place the chairs for us every morning was heavenly.
We had excellent customer service from both Leah and Kelly as well. Looking forward to our 5th year visit, You will be thrilled to stay at Octagon Fishin!
