It was clean, the breakfast had a lot of choices. The staff were helpful.

Overall, the hotel lacked warmth or any character, which took away from a vacation experience.

For some reason the legs had been removed from the bed so the bed box was on the floor. Didn’t change the comfort level of the bed but it did make it lower to the floor which was an issue with one member of our party who has back issues

The view from the room was in a backuard with old building without any renovation., an image of an old and unkempt building.

There was parking but it was off site. However the staff were very helpful and accompanied you to the parking location which was a couple of minutes away.

The location was great , the staff were really helpful, breakfast was plentiful and varied. but the furniture was so tired and worn-out - the base of the extra bed in the queen suit is completely threadbare and the toilet flush was not working - we were only staying for one night so reported at checkout.

The hotel, while not central, was still relatively close to the various attractions in Sofia so that we were able to walk everywhere we were going to. The room, as seems to be the case with almost every hotel in Sofia, was quite old fashioned in its decor, although it was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was huge. The reception staff were very friendly and always helpful.

The rooms were extremely hot and, despite trying to turn the temperature down and then turn on the A/C, they would not cool down to a comfortable level. This meant having to open windows, which then brought in very polluted air (it seems coal is still burned in Sofia). Despite all rooms apparently being non-smoking, we could still smell cigarette smoke in our rooms (including when windows were closed and had not been open all day). Interior sound proofing was not the best and it was a particularly restless night when a group of Dutch youths had checked in and were wandering around / shouting for some time.

The room was a pretty good size!Comfy bed,facilities. The staff was kind,friendly and helpful.Location is good.We found a UK socket which surprised me in a good way.

The only thing I missed to find at the room was slippers.

The hotel is on Hristo Botev Boulevard, on a tram line, and in close proximity to the center of Sofia. There is an open parking lot with a barrier within walking distance to the hotel on the back street where you can leave your car. You can visit almost all places on foot. Stefan at the front desk was very helpful upon our arrival and also suggested a few good places to eat. The excellent open buffet breakfast had all we anticipated. The room was large, comfortable, and had a very good shower. We highly recommend this hotel for its location, service, and the amenities its provides to those who would like to explore Sofia.
