The rooms were too small for 2 people. Almost the size of a train coupe. Bathroom doors did not work. Couldn't close the bathroom doors so no privacy while taking a shower. The breakfast was awful. The worst I ever had in any hotel. The eggs tasted artificial. No ham no cheese left for us even though we were early so only limited portions to offer for everybody. The staff was not topping up the food even there was almost nothing left on plates for guests.

Location

Dirty corridors and too much drilling and noise, reception staff was the the only one and on the phone all the time, had to wait for a long time to get her attention and there was no one else waiting.

toilet didn’t flush well and we had to change rooms because the door wouldn’t open using the code - not the hotels fault, more the builders who are doing the refurb. - could do with extra pillows.

location, room was newly renovated which is a big improvement of older style, very comfortable big bed, Veronica the receptionist was very helpful and happy to help. b&b hotels are so good in accepting dogs and welcome them which is a big bonus

Clean and comfortable no frills hotel.

Had difficulty getting into the room (305). After a very long and stressful day dealing with delayed and rerouted trains it was the last thing we needed. We arrived after the staff went home and while we guessed that the code given was to access both the hotel itself as well as our allocated room, that wasn’t entirely clear from the instructions. Exhausted and not being able to get into our room was the last straw. We eventually worked out that the door was unlocking and that it just needed a really hefty shove but I could have done without that stress at 10pm.

The price and location were perfect for my stay. The closeness to the tunnel and other shops including fast food facilities.

This is not a positive review! The location is great to have a midnight stay to rest, but that's is about all the hotel has to offer. We needed a place close to Calais for a stop-over due to our long drive with our little one (2yr old) who needed to rest after 12hrs and we didnt have a choice. Baby cot was ripped, sheets not done and dirty. Would not recommend this. Our bed had missing bed sheets/linen, dirty sheets in the shower, broken toilet flush, bed not made and a dirty duvet. We had to ask for new items which were eventually provided, but by far, the hotel is a worst-case scenario. Will not be visiting again. Staff are friendly and helpful, so that helped. If u need a place to crash and dont care, booked it. But if ur like me and booked on a recommendation, just dont bother and pay the extra for somewhere else. You will thank me.

Please provide a partial refund given the poor conditions of the room. Im requesting a partial refund as the staff helped or it would have been a full refund. Look forward to your reply. Thanks

NO coffee in the machine

It is situated in the Eurotunnel area, within walking distance of the shopping complex and food court. I've used this hotel on many occasions. For those fearing security issues, this hotel is also used by the French police, so your vehicle is well guarded. Ideal for travellers.

A great location for a pit stop when travelling via Eurotunnel. Right across the street from a McDonald’s, too, so easy access to food.

The room was very small…too small for 3 adults in my opinion. We did not like the lack of privacy with the glass door shower in the room.

No night staff. Hot water takes time to heat up.

no coffee or tea equipment in room so you need to go out of room to get hot water for that , also the room heating was not adjustable so you have no control over it

The hotel is good value for money - I have stayed here many times. I have had to score lower than usual because of the unsafe entrance to the bathroom in our room. Sharp edge to metal frame around the door where I cut my hand. The whole frame was razor sharp and needs attention.

I requested a room for a disabled person - which was provided. The room itself was okay but the bathroom left a lot to be desired. Apart from there being no plug for the sink and the shower curtain was hanging off the rail, the flooring was quite slippery but the main problem was that at some point someone had lined the doorway with some very sharp metal strips which when I leaned on to steady myself whilst exiting the bathroom actually was so sharp that it cut my hand leaving a deep 1 inch cut on my palm which bled quite a lot. I did report this to reception and was told that there was no accident book and that she would "mention" it to I don't know who. I feel that the metal strips are dangerous and will surely cause more injuries to disabled people using the room in the future. The edges of the metal strips are knife edge sharp and I hope that this feed back gets to the right person who will rectify the situation.
