The check in is at 1600 and the check out is at 10 am. This is not fair as the guest pay for a stay that is less than 24hrs

Large, spacious and clean appartement. Equipped kitchen, good shower and comfortable bed. Balcony was a bonus. Good parking available too. Staff were very cheerful and friendly. All in all we would recommend.

Only one comfortable chair, even though there were two chairs at the table, both in the kitchen and on the balcony, a sofa would have been nice. Also, the two pillows were a bit flat, could do with a couple more.

La residence est très bien située à une distance de marche de l'hôtel de ville. La chambre est en fait un appartement dans une residence senior, donc très spacieux pour une chambre de court séjour avec entrée, sejour avec coin cuisine, chambre et salle de bain. Un prix imbattable pour toute cette surface, avec en plus une propreté irréprochable.

Le pendant est l'offre de restauration très limitée et pas du tout adaptée à une clientèle touristique. Mais comme on est en centre ville avec tous les restaurants et qu'il y a un coin cuisine correctement équipé, ce n'est pas vraiment un problème.

Le seul canapé de la chambre sentait mauvais et avait des grosses traces d’urine. Nous l’avons signalé et personne n’a répondu à notre message. Dommage

Un peu plus de vaisselle: casserole, tire bouchons, petits ustensiles de cuisines. 2 oreillers en plus, coussins dans le canapé, peignoirs avec caution pour se rendre à la piscine.

Not much to like sadly

It was more like an old people’s home I’m not young myself but this was definitely not a Hotel or holiday property. The description was very misleading. Mealtime was a set meal and only one hour 7 to 8pm set time for the residents who were all sitting in the foyer together some shouting at each other not a nice atmosphere. It was a dog friendly hotel but we weren’t told you couldn’t take your dog into eating facility until we arrived so we had to take our meal to our room. The room itself was a good size but as soon as we opened the door the awful smell hit you which was very off putting. The staff didn’t speak much English. There was a so called bar there but no one was ever there and the contents of the fridge was some fruit juices half a bottle of wine and 2 beers.

Das Apartment war in einem Altersheim. Es war ruhig gelegen. Innerhalb von 5 Minuten zu Fuß konnte man das Zentrum von Calais erreichen. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die kostenfreie Tiefgarage war top. Man konnte über den Aufzug direkt die Etage des Zimmers erreichen. Das Apartment war komplett ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Der Channel Tunnel war innerhalb von 10 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Jederzeit wieder!

Es gab kein englisches oder deutsches Fernsehprogramm

The property was spotlessly clean. Apartments were large and very well equipped The nearest shop was a Carrefour local shop around 5 minutes away, which had all the basics and was open until 9pm The staff were very helpful. The apartments appear to be within a protected living environment for older people, but that didn’t detract from the quality in any way. It was lovely to be able to practice my French conversation skills!

Ideal für Familien (Appartment). Alles super gepflegt, sauber und gut zu erreichen. Tiefgaragenparkplatz mit 2m Höhe ist dabei.

Gratis zwembad en sauna en veel ruimte in de kamer. Het is een soort serviceflat waardoor alle ruimtes groot genoeg zijn voor mensen met een rolstoel. Je hebt ook een balkon, dus kan altijd even een luchtje scheppen. Ook het keukentje is zeer handig indien nodig.

We kwamen aan in de straat en er waren werken waardoor we het hotel minder goed vonden. Hier is op voorhand niets over gecommuniceerd. Uiteindelijk konden we wel ondergronds parkeren. We wisten ook niet op voorhand dat het een hotel en serviceflat in een was, ons stoorde nu wel niet. Het enige dat ik kon opmerken van de kamer, was dat de badkamer bij het openen wat muf rook naar schimmel. Na een beetje verluchten was het wel weg tijdens ons verblijf.

There was a very strong sewage smell that lingered throughout all rooms.

Baustelle vor dem Haus. Schlecht zu parken bei der Ankunft.

Positiv war, dass die Unterkunft gut zu finden war, trotz Bauarbeiten in der Straße vor dem Haus. Auch das Einchecken nach 20.00 Uhr hat mit dem Türcode problemlos geklappt.

Aus dem Waschbecken im Badezimmer kam ein sehr unangenehmer Geruch, der auch bei geschlossener Tür noch wahrnehmbar war. Da müsste wohl dringend mal der Abfluss gereinigt werden. Das Doppelbett ist extrem schmal, eher für eine Person geeignet.

An sich ganz angenehm, aber nur zum Übernachten. Zum Frühstück sind wir außerhalb gegangen. Die Garage ist sehr in Ordnung, aber Ansonsten ganz einfach alles aufgebaut, aber zum Übernachten ist in Ordnung

It was spacious, quiet, clean and relatively easy to find despite roadworks closing the road in front. Staff were very polite.

We arrived at 9pm and there were no bar/food/vending machines BUT the night manager was on hand to let us in and it might have been my poor French that meant that we couldn’t get a cup of tea or snack.

Our rooms were essentially two small apartments in a mixed use block, well decorated and clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Relatively accessible from Eurotunnel.

The car park was underground and we had to remove the roof box from our people carrier to get in. There was some on-street parking around, but we couldn't assess the safety. The area was well outside Calais centre, and felt a bit scruffy (though significant works in the area didn't help impressions.) We struggled to find anywhere to eat within walking distance late in the evening. The apartments had kitchenettes but they were not really equipped for serious cooking. (It appeared most of the other residents were elderly and long-term - this is not a plus or a minus, but was a bit unexpected.)
