Really well situated and the price was good that weekend. The hotel is perfect for a short stay so I will repeat it for sure. Also it,s very clean and the room is quite big.

The parking is a problem in all Koln. Parking in the streets is 1 euros x 15 minutes!!! That it not a problem of the hotel... but we need to think before consider top be central in the cituies.

Our twin room was comfortable but the shower room was very small.

they misbooked my keycard so the second night I was locked out and had to call the emergency nr and someone had to come and fix my card. Slept a bit on the loppy ottoman. Not recommending that ;)

This is a great hotel that is reasonably priced in a great location. We could walk to the tram lines and to lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping. I highly recommend this place on your visit to Koln!

The hotel is excellent. We have stayed before, during covid, where the surrounding facilities were restricted. We found the Hotel and staff very accommodating then. This time, we have been pleasantly surprised at the amount of nightlife in the vicinity. The centre of Köln is around 20 mins walk and buses, taxis and the "s"bahn are within easy reach. The Hotel is a little gem within the circle of the city. The restaurant has a small but very tasty variety of food. The breakfast is worth every penny. All the staff, Hotel and restaurant, were excellent. We had a lovely weekend.

I wouldn't change a thing. Maybe the weather :)

the terrace / mezzanine in the room was nice together with a view. hotel is placed in a good location with a grocery store in front and many restaurants around.

There are many things that I didn’t like, such as: 1. water pressure was low, and even sometimes there was no hot water when you shower. 2. towels were overused and old 3. furniture in the room was a very bad quality 4. during 6 days day no one even vacuumed the floor!!! 5. on the mezzanine there was a candy stuck to the floor (since before I checked in) and cleaning never even bothered to remove it 6. TV was smaller than my laptop 7. table in the room was so low, probably only for children 8. pillows were horrible: one too hard, another one had filling spread apart and looked like it was used for centuries 9. hotel didn’t even offer a bottle of water on checkin. 10. tea deserves a special note: it was the cheapest tea you can even buy (round tea bags without a holder) put on a cheap plastic container 11. cleaning is only till 1pm 12. hotel has no facilities like a hall, bar or gym. Too expensive and overrated for what they offer! Wouldn’t recommend.

This was not my first stay at the Chelsea. I love the location, the staff is really friendly and helpful, and they have interesting rooms (I stayed on the top floor). The balcony is definitely a plus.

I couldn't find a power outlet near the bed. Also the internet was not really working well in my room.

Staff was friendly, location was good. There is a Rewe super nearby which is very convenient.

When I searched for a hotel the only thing I added as a filter was air conditioning. This hotel popped up and I thought it would be great, but when I got there my room didn't have air conditioning, I guess only other rooms had it. I was kinda mad because it was super hot, the staff was nice enough to give me a fan but still I think the hotel should say something about the air conditioning being only in some rooms.

The staff is super friendly and welcoming, really nice view from the balcony.

The bed and especially the pillows were a little bit uncomfy.

Region is a bit noisy because of bars and restaurants around. But, at the same, this is one of the attractions of the place. :)

I definitely liked the room, it was clean and had a mini bar as well which I did not expect, so that was a nice surprise. There was a large window that opened all the way (nice for fresh air) and good roll-down blinds to block out sound and light. I slept very well here. Also the shared shower (I had a room with a shared shower) was amazing! Very spacious, clean and had a rain showerhead. Definitely recommend staying here. Also LOVED the late checkout!

A pretty big downside was that you have to insert your room key into the outlet for the lights and outlets to work, so you can't charge anything inside your room when you're not there. I was there to do photoshoots and I could only charge my stuff overnight when I was actually IN the room. Since I had three batteries to charge, I had to set my alarm to change them. Would have been nice to be able to charge my batteries and laptop during the day when I was out and about. Also the room was pretty hot. Air conditioning would have made this stay perfect.

The staff were all lovely. Bed was very comfortable

The location is ideal and easily accessible in the vibrant city of Cologne. Check in and check out went smoothly and a friendly service 😊. Good size suites with a view.

Street noise at night is a teething problem but one can get round it with some good ear plugs if sensitive to noise.
