Property was at a central location to allow us to see family that lived in different parts of the state. It is large enough that we had a couple friends join us that hadn't been to Maine before. Overall the house was clean and had a fun decorating style that we could relate to. The Host was great at communication and gave some excellent recommendations. Bonus was that Rumford was on a major gateway to seeing the 2024 eclipse. We would definitely recommend staying at this property in Rumford for any future visits.

My parents are local. When visiting, we take advantage of extra sleeping space nearby. This house works perfect for our needs and owner couldn’t be easier to work with. Top notch!

We had a great stay and enjoyed skiing at Sunday River and Black Mountain. The teenagers had a blast with the foosball table and the place had a great homy ski vibe to it. The owner was helpful with questions and requests. We’ll rent again!

Family ski weekend with 7 adults a 3 month old and the dogs. The space worked great for us. Lazar was very prompt to respond.

We had a great stay in Rumford enjoying the skiing in the area. It was nice to come back to a house that was the perfect size for our family of five. House was clean and had lots of games to play with the family.

We stayed here during winter vaca week with our grandkids and it worked out great. The house is near wonderful skiing at Black Mountain and convenient to grocery stores in town. Accommodations worked well for 4 adults and 3 small kids. Kitchen had everything we needed for prep and cooking. Fooz ball in finished basement game room was a big hit!

We enjoyed our stay in this home - it was close to everything and our grandkids, who we were able to surprise for Christmas. I would recommend this listing to others wanting to stay in this area.

This house was so clean and well appointed! We were in town for a wedding with my whole family including my four grandchildren. We all enjoyed our time so much! We would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our time here. The host was very responsive to everything. The home was great for our big family. We loved the charming sinks and coziness. The downstairs halfbath is small and the upstairs one has a tub that is a bit difficult to get into. There were 6 beds which was fantastic but no room for dressers.

We were in town for a 100th birthday celebration in our mom's family and this was a great home base for the group. It had everything we could possibly need to be comfortable for the week. Sleeping quarters are a bit close so just be sure you get along with whoever you're bunking with :D Was worth it to have our whole group in one place, though. Excellent communication from the owner. Overall very glad we chose this home.

The home was perfect. Had nearly everything we needed and even some things we had not thought of. Lazar was easy to work with and communicate with. We are looking forward to a future stay if he'll have us!

First the positive: Lazar was extremely communicative and responsive. The house is large with a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of linens. The window AC units do a good job of keeping it cool in the hot summer. Unfortunately, though, we cannot look past the fact that the house was very dirty and smelled really bad. Evidently a large group of young people stayed the night before we arrived and it seemed clear that they left the place a mess. We found food (or worse) spilled on the shelf in the living room. To me a large portion of the house smelled like vomit with a lot of air freshener layered on top. The dining room Table was sticky and overall we didn’t feel comfortable at all due to the mess. Lazar did waive our cleaning fee, which was very kind, but I can’t in good conscience give it a good review.

The reservation process was easy. Communication with owner is timely. We felt like we were at home. Everything was clean. The location was central to our excursions and just 5 minutes from our family. I would always book this lovely home when I visit Mexico😁

Everything was great and having the ability to do laundry if needed was really appreciated.
