lovely room in this boutique hotel. bed very comfy and room was a good temperature.

the room was in the eaves so was small and the bathroom had a sloping roof with a very tiny sink. there were a couple of overhanging walls in the room and I banged my head a couple of times.

magnificent building, well refurbished and retaining its charm.

don’t use the location indicated on booking.com. That indicates the hotel is on a roundabout on the M62…it’s not.

The staff I met were incredibly helpful and extremely friendly and polite, especially the blonde lady at reception (sorry I didn’t get your name!) Thank you for everything! The location was fantastic, 10 minute drive in to Leeds centre yet felt incredibly rural and far away. The hotel itself was great and the room was way beyond what I expected, quite possibly the best room I’ve ever stayed in. Thank you! We can’t wait to come back.

The room was quite noisy but this was completely overshadowed by how nice it was and how great the staff were, so it wasn’t an issue at all.
