Very clean- cleaner than we expected for a beachfront condo. Shorewood overall is very nice and in the perfect location. The twin beds could each use a new mattress, but this would not prevent us from renting this unit again. Rent bikes! HH has made it easy to walk & bike on the trails.

The condo was clean and beautiful. Within walking distance to multiple restaurants. Of course the beach was spectacular, we loved being able to see it from the living room.

Overall, we had a great time, but there are issues with this condo that would keep us from re-booking.
Pros: Gated property, Nice pool, beautiful view of the ocean (bonus for the deer and rabbits we saw in the dunes), Rental equipment credit which allowed us to rent 5 bicycles for the week. HHI has amazing bike trails! Condo is very close to Coligny Plaza and the Adventure Playground that my kids loved.
Cons: Appliances should be improved. Very small washer/dryer, which only allowed for a half load. This was an issue with our 6 person family. The combination microwave and oven would not allow for a typical sized casserole dish or rectangular pan. We gave up trying to use it. One of the two twin bed mattresses is very uncomfortable. Our two young daughters complained about how noisy and uncomfortable it was, so I imagine an adult would not be able to sleep on it either. The worst part was the air conditioning. There is a note above the thermostat that says do not set below 74 degrees because it can cause the unit to freeze up. It was an incredibly hot week, and we were miserably hot. We then saw another set of laminated instructions on the table that said not to set it below 70 degrees. On the web page, it said 68. We settled on 70 degrees, which was bearable. There are no ceiling fans or ceiling lights, only lamps. The master bedroom en suite bathroom shower drain was very slow to drain so we were standing in water during our shower.

great location, wonderful view of the ocean from the balcony. property was clean, comfortable and homey. check-in/check-out, etc was extermely easy and well communicated. would definitely recommend the property, and would not hesitate to rent again.

My in laws have been coming to HHI for over 27 years. We all throughly enjoyed our stay here. Proximity to Coligny was perfect, the property was l only and we enjoyed our time at the beach and pool! We will be back

Very clean and well kept property. Easy walk to the beach. Selected this property for the location and view and was not disappointed. Would definitely stay here again.

.Great location on the property. A very easy walk to the pool and beach. Comfortable porch over looking the water. Everything was very nice. The only down side was the twin mattresses in the small bedroom were not comfortable for adults.

The view from the living room, covered porch and main bedroom are wonderful. Looking past the dunes to the water is breathtaking. The sunrises stunning.
The condo itself is very spacious and well equipped with a few exceptions like a sharp knife and matching glass wine glasses.
The only downside is its proximity to a hotel and beach bar. Music was loud afternoons and weekends detracting from the use of the patio for reading or resting.
In general the living dining area could use a facelift or some targeted refreshing.

The view from the living room, covered porch and main bedroom are wonderful. Looking past the dunes to the water is breathtaking. The sunrises stunning.
The condo itself is very spacious and well equipped with a few exceptions like a sharp knife and matching glass wine glasses.
The only downside is its proximity to a hotel and beach bar. Music was loud afternoons and weekends detracting from the use of the patio for reading or resting.
In general the living dining area could use a facelift or some targeted refreshing.

Girl's Getaway
The condo was fantastic! The view was incredible and nice to be on the 2nd floor so walking up is not bad. Location is great for walking to shops, bars, and restaurants around Coligny. Everything you need is in the well-appointed kitchen. So nice not to have to bring beach towels as well. The bedrooms are comfortable and having three bathrooms as well was great for the three of us to have our privacy. The only problem we had was the ground fault plugs in the bathrooms tripped and we couldn't find the breaker box to reset the plugs (there were no ground fault plugs in the bathrooms). Not a big deal for us, but the owner really should put ground fault plugs in the bathrooms.
Overall, I would recommend this condo for a stay. We will come again.

Excellent View and Location
Really enjoyed our stay in Hilton Head. I didn’t get in the car one time. Excellent location and the ocean view is as good as advertised. Having a code for the front door was very convenient as we had teenagers coming and going throughout the day. We would stay here again.

Great Condo
Loved this place, it was basically everything we expected. The only advice I would give to the owners is to advise the cleaning staff to also take care of the cushions on the balcony as they were very dirty, and of course during pollen season they probably need extra care. But otherwise a phenomenal stay at a great property in a great location.

Overall a good stay
The location is wonderful. The kitchen remodel is excellent with great appliances. The pool and hot tub are fantastic and the adjacent pool bathrooms were a lifesaver with little kids. The condo property is great and a good choice for families.
Yet, when we arrived one of the bathrooms had a toilet that had a broken handle and it would run constantly. We spent the week flushing it using the chain. The curtains had clearly taken some abuse- there were signs posted on them and next to them regarding proper use. However when you utilized the cord as instructed, you’d also need to hold the bracket on the wall to keep them from falling down. It appears a plastic mounting piece probably needs replaced. Extra note- you aren’t supposed to turn the thermostat below 74. This may have been something we would have appreciated knowing before booking. None of this would prevent me from booking thru The Vacation Company again- it’s just the unit needs some attention.

Perfect location
This was perfect condo for our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents. Second floor condo was conveniently located overlooking pool while also beachfront. Second floor pro/con. Only a few steps down to ground level but can’t see entire beach as dunes block some of the view. Not a big deal. Condo very near beach access plus close to restaurants and shopping. Second time staying at this condo complex but first time in this unit. One of the nicest beach condos we have ever stayed in. We loved it!

Great location and fantastic view. Pool is nice. Plenty of parking. Kitchen was well-stocked. Appliances and A/C worked well.
Unit was clean in parts, not so much in other parts. Lots of dust under the beds, living room furniture grimy, bathrooms moderately clean, could have been better.

Nice place
The unit was nice, not perfect but nice. Didn't even have salt and pepper but that's OK (not a requirement) but other units and people including us usually leave such items. The weather has a lot to do with your visit and for us it was good. We have stayed at Shorewood units several times, we like the location, and most units are up to par. We wanted to try a 3 bedroom and this one served the purpose, I mean after all, what can you truthfully say. It was clean, my bed was lumpy but OK for me, maybe not for you, appliances were OK, we enjoyed...

Great location with great views
We had 2 couples staying in this rental with plenty of room to spare. Nice to have one bathroom per bedroom. This was very close to shopping and dinning so easy to walk or bike to anything you need. The condo was very well done with great amenities; especially the comfortable patio furniture. It was better to be in the 2nd floor so that you can see over the top of the vegetation between housing and the beach/ocean.

A Delight
This is one of the nicest condos we have ever rented in many visits to HHI including a previous stay at Shorewood. Top notch updates include the most comfortable balcony furniture we've ever encountered on a rental, high end appliances and a beautifully detailed tile floor ; fantastic customer service from rental company - starter amenities high quality, and very clean. Don't worry, the photos do not lie.
