The room was amazing. Big and full of accessories.
The room was unbearable hot. We arrived early evening. As soon as we walked into the building, the heat just hit you. As we were walking up the stairs to our room, the heat got hotter. We opened the door to our room, and it felt like we were in an oven. We tried to stay. Used the shower and didn't stay the night. We were so disappointed. There were no fans in the room or air-conditioning. We couldn't have the windows open because of the mosquitos.

Beautiful and clean, felt warm and welcoming. Great location, just a short walk to the lake and shops. I would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.
I didn’t dislike anything although the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, however it did the job!

Continental breakfast comprised of cartons of porridge muffins biscuits and fresh orange juice tea & coffee machine in room not what I expected no cheese or ham or even coisants disappointed. the room was unbelievably hot and yet radiator was off. Plus the hot water in room did not run hot until after 3.30pm which after a morning out and wanting to use toilet had to boil kettle.

The room was adequate and had a good selection of teas and coffee, although no decaff coffee.
The 'continental breakfast' was not at all what we expected. We have stayed in a few B&Bs where continental breakfast is provided to be eaten in the room. Each host has provided a choice of fresh baked goods, butter, meats, cheese, cereal, fruit and yogurt and a table where we could sit and eat. A picnic eaten sitting on the bed of porridge and yogurt was very disappointing. The cellophaned muffin and cereal bar were not our thing. In fact we kept checking the corridor to see if the rest of the meal had arrived! This was not the birthday treat I’d envisaged.

Our room had a fantastic view. The breakfast was really good. The information provided stated all the rooms had TV's with intergrated DVD player, with a good sized bookcase & selection of DVD's to borrow should you have bad weather or someone just fancy watching one of their films. Very friendly & welcoming staff.
The only thing we didn't like was the low water pressure in the shower.

Nigel was lovely and contacted me earlier in the day to advise our room would be ready ahead of schedule. Everything was so easy to getting our key and ordering the breakfast. We had a family room which was just lovely and the view is amazing. Nigels cooked breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. I would definitely recommend staying here and I am already looking to return. Excellent location.

The facilities ,room ,breakfast & host were great & have thought of everything.I liked the easiness of the check in the room key in a safe box is a great idea . My husband is Gluten Free but not a problem he was fully catered for .
Didn’t dislike anything but the noise from the road was noticeable but nothing the owners can change about that .

Large peasant room, comfy beds, good breakfast, pleasant staff. Easy 5 minute walk into Bowness. Great to be able to leave car and not have to worry about parking in town.
People in next room loud and talking till after midnight. Could hear them snoring. This was on our second night. First night no one next door so very peaceful. Better sound proofing would be good.

Very nice and comfortable family-owned B&B in a quiet location, which is still in good walking distance to the lake and the center. Nice selection for breakfast. We'll come again!

there is a little hill to walk up to the lodge which could be a problem if you have trouble but we were fine with it

location was ideal for us, Bowles’s centre was a few minutes walk away. the room was very clean, a good size, nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. breakfast service was really well organised and Karol, our host , was exceptional. certainly we will be back.

Everything we could need was thought of and provided. The location was an easy walk into Bowness. The room was clean, warm and comfortable, and the breakfasts were so well planned, cooked and served. Nothing was too much trouble.
There was nothing about this choice of hotel we didn't like. We were sent the code for our key before we left home so we could get straight in without reception delays. We even had easy access to the WiFi and the information about it was in our room when we arrived.

Breakfast was beautiful. Location was fantastic with the added bonus of car parking. Checking-in was easy with the code for the key-lock sent before hand, so access to room was quick and simple.

The breakfast was excellent and freshly made. The location was perfect in relation to being next to all the local amenities and attractions.
I couldn’t recommend any changes following our stay. Keep up the great work that you are doing.
