Beautiful guest house, very clean, breakfast was amazing and set you up for the day, rooms serviced daily if you want that, prime location close to lake, shops, excellent restaurants I would book beforehand though, will definitely be returning to Beechwood soon

Everything brilliant at Beechwood. The location is an excellent base for walking to both Windermere and Bowness. The rooms are excellent, both very clean and comfortable. The people are absolutely lovely. Will definitely be staying again.

Clean, friendly. Breakfasts very good and there was tea and coffee in the rooms, extra on the landing if needed. Parking excellent

There wasn’t anything not to like.

Breakfast was lovely, The hotel its self was very clean and tidy and in a great location for the town /lake. The landlady was very pleasant and engaged in conversation with the guests.

Limited parking was a slight pain but the local streets have no parking restrictions and I had no problems getting parked close to the hotel.

Excellent guest house we've stayed there 4 times it's so convenient for us for all the amenities shops restaurant pubs and walks

This is probably the best B&B I've ever been to. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was excellent, and most importantly the hosts are super nice and accommodating. They gave me great recommendations, helped me plan my hikes around the area, and offered me coffee after my checkout when I had to wait a few extra hours before I could keep on, among many other things. I'm sure to book with them again when I'm back in the area.
