Room facing the neighbouring apartment. Uncomfortable cause everytime we have to close the curtains.

Close to Star Vista and MRT

A few receptionists at the front desk weren’t professional, one man named Haikul (?) was abrupt and informal. The room only had one dustbin in the bathroom and we requested for another, he said we should throw our other rubbish in a plastic bag instead and seemed a bit informal and unprofessional. Why not just provide us with an extra bin so that we can help the room clean and hygienic for you? Another time, towels were requested and they took forever to provide them.

Comparing to other hotels, park avenue wasn't such a great stay, with the price they charged. The only reason i considered park avenue Rochester is because my house was in holland village, so i booked this hotel for my parents. Next time definitely i wont consider Park Avenue Rochester for anyone. Services they offered and customer interaction was the worse. Also the room space, it was damn too small.

Location. Buono Vista metro station is in walking distance.

Required multiple requests to get basic things like tissue roll or bath gel refill. The bathroom shower faucet had problems, and some fittings were simply loose; though they fixed it after being told Front office staff Tan Suh Fang is impolite. Though the other staff at Front desk Kimberly and Melvin are pleasant to interact. I later realised that they overcharged SGD 30 to me for the last night (2nd Jan 2023) for upgrade to Deluxe room (which was done on day of check in);, whereas thru a separate transaction the collected full fare at the time of check out.

Twin beds too close. Not suitable for business trip.

Feel so warm n welcome upon arrival. House cleaning were exceptional helpful. Worth the value for money

I was not aware i had double booked, one with booking and one with hotel, if there is a way the hotel staff could flag out i had double booked, i could release one booking without to pay penalty which is painful. Note i have used the same name, mobile number and email so kinda disappointing

Room with bath tub, that was a surprise. Sound proofing is good, appreciate the quietness. Only on occasion I heard people talking and room doors closing.

The wifi connection could have been stronger. The speed was a bit slow so to do some work, it does frustrate at times.

Near to a mall and convenient to get food.

It is a great location for me when I visit. Close to the MRT and also close to A*STAR.

I am newly diagnosed with Coeliac disease meaning that I can not eat wheat. There was very little (If anything) that I could eat for breakfast and so I took my own! The rooms are small but that is not really an issue.
