What an amazing place to stay. Everything and more was supplied for an idyllic long weekend. Each room was Spotless and very nicely decorated. The hosts were amazing, leaving a homemade cake for us and even lending us some sugar to make scones with. It was one of our parties birthday and she was even given a gift to help us celebrate. Spent a week here and the cowshed was a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation was spacious and well decorated, very clean and comfortable. Beautiful spacious converted barn next to owners property. Hot tub was wonderful and overlooks the meadows at the back. Owners friendly but not intrusive and there was a home baked cake awaiting us on arrival after a long journey with milk in the fridge so we could have tea and cake. Very thoughtful. We are a group of freinds from all over the South West and Midlands area and were meeting up for one of our birthdays for a relaing weekend and this place did that and had a little bit of the wow factor for us. We managed to cook a roast for the 7 of us, but this was a bit of a struggle as it is a normal size oven even though the cottage sleeps 8 people and if you went there for Christmas with the intention of not going out to lunch this would be a struggle as well. Fab place! Stayed for a birthday weekend with friends. The 'cow' theme, with pics, crockery to match etc, really up-beat and jolly. Super kitchen equipment and lots of space. Absolutely lovely holiday cottage in this beautiful part of Somerset, Bishopswood with easy access to the A303, which opens the way to the rest that Somerset has to offer plus Devon and Dorset. A great base that you want to come back to after a day out. The cottage is beautifully decked out with open plan living space and kitchen and the added bonus of a jacuzzi out back. Great for a large family or couple of families to share. Had a fantastic time and will definitely be going back. On a scale of 10, then this is a superb 10 out of 10 :-)
