Very welcoming and friendly owner, Leslie. She offered a tea/coffee upon arrival. Room was very clean as was adjacent bathroom. Strong WiFi. Quiet street and on-street parking in front of the property. Excellent value - would definitely recommend.

Leslie is a great host. One of the best I've encountered. She's friendly, happy to help out, considerate and conscientious. She really makes you feel welcome. I had a lot of privacy and peace there. The place is dead silent at night. Bliss. The shower was good and the full use of the kitchen was greatly appreciated. I'd stay there again without hesitation.

The mattress was very soft and a little uneven, which was the only slight blemish for me, as I have back issues. Everything else was great.

My host was lovely, helpful and welcoming and I was very happy to meet her and her pets. She keeps her house clean, cosy and absolutely free to come and go as you please. There are easy bus links five mins away from the house and it is quite close to the city centre. It is amazing value for money and I look forward to staying here again on future visits to Newcastle.

Really friendly. Made me feel at home straight away.

Lesley is a lovely person and I really enjoyed my stay there. The location is residential -- so the guest won't have to bear with any party noise. There is a bus station nearby so location-wise, it is convenient for me. I need to highlight that the cat and dog in the house are the cutest ones ever. They have super friendly manners and make me feel at home very much.

You don't think you were stay in a guest house or B & B. It is like stay with relative or friend. You will be the only guest when you stay there. Dog and cat are adorable.

Incredibly friendly and kind host, with lovely dog and cat! good facilities, very clean, good location for Walker Dome and short Uber into town, with offer of hot drinks, cereal, toast etc. Nicely decorated, good privacy, needed an iron and Lesley more than happy to help, nice TV in room and other facilities. Bathroom and shower good.

This is a smoking property, just to be aware. For some the mattress may be a little soft.

Of the fifteen or so places I've stayed in this year with booking.com, this is the only one I have given a review score of 10 out of 10. One or two things missing or could be made better,....ie a bedside table lamp, but that's just nit-picking!.⁹

My gammy knees didn't like the stairs. Also, some way out of town, but on the bus route. Staying in someone's home was a bit daunting at first, but the host was very hospitable.
