The condo was very clean and property owner very nice and responsive. My only caveat was it was a bit over priced based upon the location. We ended up walking more to get to the lifts than if we were to just rent near a bus stop. If I were to rent again, I would rent right near a bus stop a bit further away for a more price conscience condo as in the end it would have been an overall shorter walk to the lifts.

Overall we had a great time. The condo location was at the base of the mountain and across the street, easy walk to the lift. It was not overly spacious but it was very comfortable and clean. The owner responded to our needs almost instantly. I would definitely recommend.

The walk to the Steamboat Gondola lift line takes 6 minutes, and there are no stairwells from the condo to the lift - I call that ski in/out. Property is not new with fancy, modern decor. But everything about it works great. Ski locker right outside your door. Stocked kitchen so you can cook at home a couple of nights. Nooks to keep your ski boots, helmets, etc right inside the front door. A nice family/dining room with big table for your meals, board games, and stuff. Always a parking space if you go out to dinner. Hot tub & pool are well-maintained and just a few steps from your unit. And the hosts respond immediately. You should stay here.

We had an infant with us and adults swapping off baby duty to go ski. This location -- about a 5 minute walk to the gondola -- was perfect for that. Not quite ski in / ski out but a brisk walk in ski boots. We had a few hiccups with the stay but they were quickly and graciously handled by the owners. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a bit tight. But we were there to ski.

This is a short walk to the bus downtown & the base / gondolas. Property was clean, beds comfy, plenty of towels (including hot tub) & basics (like shampoo l, laundry soap etc), the ski storage was convenient, close to pool / hot tub, washer and drier a must when skiing, great views of mountain & night skiing. Owners are responsive & easy to work with. Recommend for skiing trip for 3 people!!! (Could sleep more). Nothing glamorous but nicely done!!!

Great location, clean condo, responsive owner to questions. Got stuck an extra night and owner gave me discounted rate on the extra night needed. We would stay here again and I’d recommend this condo for others.

This was our second stay at this condo and we were still as satisfied as ever. Starting with the communication with the owner. He is very prompt to respond and provides you with all of the information that you need for your stay. The condo itself is perfect if you want easy access to the ski mountain. The walk is less than 5 minutes to the lifts. The condo is cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable vacation.

Great location, nice set up, clean, and owners reply quickly

The condo was great! All beds and furnishings were very comfortable. It was well stocked with everything you’ll need. The location is terrific. Just drop down the path to the gondola area and the bus line to get you anywhere you need to go around town. A short walk or bus ride to the grocery store. Walking paths everywhere. Just awesome!

Nice view of the mountain and down to the valley. It's easy to walk into the village and it's not a far drive to town.

The condo was overall nice, well-decorated and in a good location. Communication before our stay was helpful and gave us the necessary details. Unfortunately, there was no hot water our first night or the following morning, so we all suffered through rather brief and uncomfortable cold showers. While the property owner tried to appease us by promising that he would refund us for the first night, we haven't heard anything in the week since our stay, and we haven't received any type of refund.

Too many stairs to climb and no bathroom on the ground floor. We were all seniors. I wish their had been pictures of both floors to be able to see the lay out of the condo. The only picture I saw on line was of the kitchen. It was clean and Aaron was nice and helpful but we will probably go back to Trailhead Lodge next year. It would be good for Vrbo to recommend condos for seniors, catering to their needs.

Awesome location within walking distance to the gondola base/ transit center ( with ski gear)… facilities are adequate… bathrooms have been updated but the complex and layout overall is a little dated… nice hot tub and pool for post ski soak/ relax…overall a functional property for summer/ winter mountain activities with a responsive and attentive host

This location is great! We love the living space with big windows and proximity to the base. The owner has great communication. This is our 2nd time staying and will again!

This was our second time staying at this location and we had another great trip. Location is great for being close to food and the gondola. Space is perfect for our little family and it has everything you need to make all your meals at home. Aaron was super responsive and a great host. I would totally rent this property again. We had a really nice time staying in this condo. It was so cozy and had everything we needed. It is so conveniently located near the slopes. Loved having two hot tubs. We will definitely be back

We had a great time in Steamboat and our stay at the West made our trip very convenient.

Communication from the owners was excellent, unit was clean, beds were very comfortable, and the location was the next-best-thing to ski in/ski out. Loved the fireplace, which really warmed the place up.

Very convenient to the mountain base! It was super helpful to have a ski locker as well. The condo was a great fit for our family of four.

We loved our stay in this condo - it sits right across the street from the base of Steamboat resort with beautiful views of the slopes. We could walk to the gondolas in less than 5 minutes. The condo was clean, well appointed, and comfortable (especially the beds!). The owners were responsive and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend this condo for a great ski get away!
