House is very close to the beach - just a short walk.

We were a family of 10 -- two grandparents (55-65), four parents (30-40), four grandchildren (3-7). This was a perfect home for us. I'll enumerate all of the great things -- great kitchen, living room, dining room and grill area-- perfect for hanging out and cooking. Great proximity to the beach (very short walk). Ample parking. Great location near Coligny. Great "clean-off" area when you get back from the beach. Great Ice-Maker! Tons of plates, glasses & silverware. Great dishwasher and washer/drier. 5 nice bedrooms on two levels. Well lit. Very pleasant. Checkin/checkout seamless and flawless! This is why I give it 5 stars -- it was a wonderful place to host a week-long family trip to HHI. The downsides are minor, but if you're expecting an upscale vacation, that's not what you're getting. This is best for a family. Grandchildren loved the pool. Adults didn't (buggy and dingy). Faucet handles loose, drawers broken, register that drips onto the toilet when you shower, cobwebs in corners -- all minor inconveniences, but if you care about them, they are there. TV's are too small. If you want to stream, bring your xbox or Roku's. I you want a hair dryer, bring one. I want to emphasize that these critical things are minor, and we loved our stay. I just want to mention things that vacationers may care about so that you're prepared. We would return in a heartbeat!

Location was just as described, spacious kitchen, dining and living area, all bedrooms were large - only negative is needing some repair on minor things and outdated furnishings

Because it is by the beach, we could walk to it within 5 minutes. We did couple times every day and went back to the well stocked kitchen at this house to eat meals. Lots of space, bedrooms and bathrooms.

I just want everyone to know, lock you doors. On Friday, people went into our vehicle’s and stoled items that was not theirs. Once we reported it we find out it happens all the time. So I guess this happens everywhere these days. Besides this misshape the area and the house was nice.

Home is big with lots of room..beautiful home. 2 tvs up stairs did not work.. this wasn't the first time booking with vacasa.. the first time booking the wifi did NOT work.

Clean, spacious and easy to get to

We are giving our stay at Sea Oak Lane #5, Hilton Head an overall rating of three stars. The interior of the house was a strong 4.5 while the exterior was a huge disappointment. The interior of the house was everything we had hoped. It was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The kitchen had all high-end appliances with more than enough dishes and flatware for the eight adults staying in the house. There were plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans, and serving dishes. The living spaces were very large and comfortable. The WIFI worked flawlessly. We spent a lot of family time in the main living room. The five bedrooms and five bathrooms were very comfortable, however, the TVs in the bedrooms were complicated to use. It would have been helpful to have written instructions The in-ground swimming pool and deck areas as depicted on the VACASA website were a major reason for choosing this house. When we arrived, we found that they were unusable. The first day of our stay the pool was filthy and the deck area was covered in leaves and branches. The lounge chairs were old, broken, and covered with mildew. In one corner of the deck area was a garden hose that could not be turned off because the faucet was broken. We finally kinked the hose to keep it from running continually. When we reserved this house, we had visions of lounging on the deck and enjoying the heated pool. Sadly, we could do neither. This was a great disappointment and we certainly would not have chosen this house for our family reunion if we had known the state of the pool and deck area. This was our third time using VACASA. The first two times our experiences were very positive. This stay held so much promise, but the condition of the pool area was a big disappointment, and had a negative impact on this VACASA experience.

This house was a great setup for our family of 11! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. Double ovens and room for many to work for quick food preps. Having so many bathrooms was a bonus as well as the king size beds. The air conditioning worked well so it was cool enough at night. The kids loved the pool as much as the beach! The pool was cool enough for morning and afternoon swims- major bonus for 90 + degree days! The beach was short walk-5 yr old had no issues with it. Great gully for kids and lots of beach at low tide. 4 stars due to some dated smaller toilets and standing water at pool area due to clogged French drain. Some cosmetic updates are needed, but would stay here again!

Close to beach, large rooms, well-equiped kitchen.

a very short walk to the beach is fantastic for a family beach vacation. Easy for all ages to walk back and forth. The house has a nice layout with 2 bedrooms on the main level and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Full kitchen and large dining table were just what was needed. We would stay here again.

Location is great and space is enough for a large family. Pictures are not accurate and many things in the house need attention and repair. Pool area is not great to hang out at.

We loved this house being so near the beach. Well-stocked kitchen- plates, glasses, etc. and ice machine.

This house was about 1 mile from the Coligny where there are numerous shops, restaurants and a grocery store, and it was a short walk to the beach.

The house layout was wonderful for our family of 11. We enjoyed taking the short walk to the beach. The kitchen and the dining room were large enough to accommodate our crew! The only downside was paying for the pool to be heated. It was very cold and we were not able to swim in it. I would recommend not using that service.

Open concept, gorgeous kitchen for big group meals. Lots of natural light and indoor/outdoor space. The outdoor furniture was a little rough/used, but a minor inconvenience. Thanks for a great, memorable trip.

However, when we arrived, the glass top on the dining table had just been broken, which wasn't a big deal. But then, the balcony screen was off it's track and askew on the balcony, the large balcony door handle was broken and hanging on by a thread, one of the toilet paper holders was broken, and the pool and garage lights were ALL broken.

The home itself is gorgeous, but it needs some TLC. Having multiple broken bits is unsightly, and the pool light situation actually made it where we couldn't enjoy the pool as much as we would have.

Layout and gathering spaces are excellent along with the proximity to the beach. Loved the private, shady pool and outdoor spaces. Would give five stars but some of the house shows its age and some nonessential repairs could be done.

We had family visiting for my daughters graduation and we needed space for 10 people. Could not be happier with this property - plenty of room for everyone to be together, yet plenty of privacy as well. Very short walk to the beach. House had everything we needed for a perfect beach get away. Great location! Close to Coligny and other shopping. I can't recommend this property highly enough. Hope to come back again!

Please check bunk beds for bed bugs. Others than that great house.

Wonderful easy checking and check out process

Overall had a nice stay. Location of home is very convenient for beach access. Beautiful home but in need some routine maintenance. Would be helpful to have at least one hair dryer or note not available on listing.

This was our 11th spring break at Hilton Head and it was a great one. This house was very close to the beach. We paid to have the pool heated and it was comfortable even when the air was chilly. The kitchen was well appointed. I REALLY appreciated having great pots and pans, plenty of utensils, sharp knives, and propane in the grill. The ice maker was a nice bonus. The two refrigerators in the entry room were very convenient for beach and pool drinks. One complaint I have was that the internet was crazy slow/bad. We could not even open pdfs attached to our work emails. The other complaint is that Vacasa instructed us to stop at their office for a check in packet even through we had the door code and didn't need any parking pass. When I called to make sure we must stop in they confirmed that this was required. The packet was a single sheet of paper listing some local businesses where we could get a discount showing a business card that they provided. This was very annoying. After an 18 hr drive, an extra stop when you are so close is a hassle and 100% unnecessary.Overall a great stay and we are likely to return to this home.

We had a fun and enjoyable time. Easy access to the beach, especially with little ones. Pool area was not attractive and we had no desire to use it. Huge Dining table that fit all of us well. Updated kitchen was well stocked with supplies and was great for having several cooks in the kitchen. Loved the double ovens and 5 burner cooktop! Bathrooms were dated but they were in good shape, clean and served their purpose. Several stains on the carpeted steps. Toaster oven quit the second day and they never came to service it after we called. There were additional fridges downstairs which was wonderful. We cooked all our meals and brought a lot of food with us. No shortage of fridge or freezer space. Nice to have covered space underneath for rainy days with little ones and storage of supplies. Overall, our kids lilked the house layout and location a lot. If you like doing puzzles, you may want to bring your own table. Beware.... there is no hair dryer in any of the 4 bathrooms! I had to go buy one.

My family of two adults and 3 kids (11, 10 and 4) just spent a very nice week at this property. The pluses are: 1. Beach proximity right across the street, not even a 5 min walk. We hardly used the pool because it was in the garage area, not very convenient to hang out, but it was nice to have the outdoor shower to remove the sand. 2. Kitchen: Very well stocked, we had everything we needed to cook at home every night. Loved the fridge with the beverage center! 3. Space: Each kid had their own room and bathroom. The upstairs was the bigger kids area and downstairs we had the little one in the room next to the master. Everyone had their own space.
The minus: The carpets were so badly stained that we all kept our socks on. All the chairs cushions in the dinning room were dirty/stained. Two chairs were broken, one was already put against the wall, I sat in one and almost fell, so I put it right next to the other one that was already away.
Overall, it was a good and roomy house that is in need of carpet replacement and furniture refurbishment. But otherwise we enjoyed our stay.
