I can't say that I don't like. However, I would recommend to house owner in providing good quality electric stuff with verified SIRIM. So that, a failure in the electricity supply won't happen.

Room way too small, bad location, the boat was not working, so I had to take the taxi to get to the city and come back. Residential area with nothing around, didn't even know where to buy water.

The host was so kind and gave great recommendations for food and very generously provided delicious snacks to try! The room was a good size, clean and comfortable with plenty of towels and pillows. The property had a lockable gate so felt secure. There were some great food stalls nearby. Parking was kindly offered within the property but I ended up parking just outside so I didn't have to open and close the gate behind the car each time I left. The air conditioner was very effective and very much needed!

The property was quite far away from the centre of Kuching by road, and although technically a 30min or so walk to the waterfront it was really too hot to walk it and there were no pavements in some parts, so driving or a grab car were really the only options. I had a couple of issues when I wanted to use a grab rather than drive, with drivers cancelling the job just after taking it because it was too far away. As the property was on a main road there was quite a lot of noise at night, particularly from scooters.

The family were so incredibly happy and helpful, made me feel very welcome
