spacious, well equipped, quiet, nice garden, great central location

typical of some streets in small villages the road leading to the cottage is very narrow so we couldn’t enter the garage. it wasn’t a problem as we parked across the road in the sainsburys carpark.

The only one thing I'd add/change is just a touch more clarity on parking for arrival.

This was my second stay at the property. The host meets you on arrival which is nice. The property is clean and homely . It is well equipped for self catering but is in a great central location to eat / drink out.

Quiet considering it was right in the centre. Comfortable and spacious. The extra toilet in the hallway was an advantage! Andrea the host was fantastic. Met us on arrival and showed us around. Lovely house and was great that it was detached too. Great garden and facilities!

Would benefit from a few more mirrors, especially full-length. The lighting wasn't as bright as hoped, so maybe a few more lamps etc.

The owner Andrea was very friendly and helpful with a good sense of humor. She left a personalised booklet giving advice on local places that were good and those that were not so. The cottage was really nice and clean and full of character with quirky-shaped rooms and corridors. We came down to see bands that were playing at the Picturedome, which was an easy 2-minute walk, as were a number of restaurants for after. We will no doubt be coming back once more bands we like come play Holmfirth.

The only downside was we couldn't park my Range Rover outside as it was too big. There was a parking space for us a couple of minutes walk away, so it wasn't an inconvenience. The wall also helped me get my bearings around the town.
