The house was perfect for our family, the game room, hot tub, and bunk room were a huge hit! The bedrooms were comfortable, we loved having enough bathrooms and the location is spot on. Well stocked provisions and a very comfortable family room. Our family of 8 loved all of the space. The carpets were not very clean and a bit stained though.

2nd year we have stayed at this house in October. We love it! It works perfectly for our group.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house with all of the different age groups. The only downside was the you have to hold the microwave door closed for it to work and the oven door has an a problem. Other then that our stay was amazing and we will definitely book again

Beautiful, large home with a great location. Close to downtown and walking distance to the ski resort. Perfect for our 2 families. The kids loved the bunk room and the adults enjoyed the hot tub with our visitors (moose and bear). It was great!!

Great location and service to the mountain…shuttle picks you up at your door, drops you at Thunderhead lift or base area and return service at end of day…easier than ski in ski out. House and hosts were great will definitely come back! Only suggestion is to add more seating in the game / bar room to create two living areas for watching movies.

It isn’t easy to find a rental for a family of 14 with easy access to the slopes but this home checked all the boxes. Bedrooms for all the adults, a loft with six beds and a pack and play for our toddler. The main level has an open layout with a large dining table and 4-5 seats on the kitchen island and a TV with several subscriptions to meet everyone’s taste. The downstairs level and hot tub were perfect for the older grandkids. The owners are local and easy to reach if you have any questions or problems. I highly recommend this rental.

They were extremely easy to work with and more than reasonable with the accommodations they were willing to make. They let some of our guests put their bags into the garage early, instead of needing to carry them around town while they waited for the full check-in and the cleaning crew. This was greatly appreciated and just one little example that showed how much they care about making sure their guests have a great experience.

We celebrated Christmas with our family, which is 13 in total, we had an amazing time. The home is a log home which is typical for a ski destination in CO. The home was adequate for our family of 13. This is a true log home and decor was amazing, perfectly decorated for Christmas, they even provided sleds for kid's bedrooms were more than adequate, the kitchen had plenty of pots, & pans, but lacked space for groceries. A pantry would’ve been nice. Also a second refrigerator would’ve been nice for a group our size, and access to shuttle was a huge plus. The only negative was price point for holiday. We overpaid, when compared to other properties we’ve stayed at during high season.

My large family (14 total people) enjoyed a great little weekend away. The loft was perfect for all the cousins and each of the adults had their own room. The activity area was hours of fun and we had a Halloween party and plenty of space for all of us to socialize together.

The house was perfect for all of us...(6) adults and (2) children. We couldn't start the firepit but honestly, we weren't at the house all that much because of wedding to do's. It was beautiful and afforded everyone privacy. The great room and kitchen and dining were superb. And we much appreciated the high chair and pack and play for our grandson, Dylan who is 20 months old. The safety gates weren't sturdy enough but unless gates are actually installed into the woodwork, no gates are really safe but all of us watched out for Dylan by the stairs. Many thanks. P.S. The wedding was perfect!!!

The road noise was pretty bad. The carpets were dirty. No cupboards for food. Could use more lighting, especially the living room. Very comfortable and we had a great stay.

Amazing house and location. Shuttle to take you to and from the lifts and base area. Also, close enough to walk to the base area if needed. House was very large and had plenty of room for our group of 11. Highly recommended.

The house had everything we could possibly need. Location for skiing was excellent. Kitchen was so well equipped.

Very nice and completely satisfactory property for our 8 adults and 4 children. Very comfortable, nice kitchen with very adequate appliances, dishes, cookware, ... Hot tub was nice and easy to use and game room was a hit. The biggest plus was access to the side yard for playing in the snow on our off ski days. Location was also nice close to both Steamboat and Howelson Hill ski areas and nearby stores.

This was a great property for a large group. There are 4 bedrooms and a loft which has 2 sets of bunk beds and 2 twins. Three floors which allowed everyone to find there own space with plenty of fun for the kids, and then a big kitchen living area for evening games. The shuttle to the mountain was awesome, with great drivers. Did I mention the private hot tub. Great time!!

Huge modern cabin attached to another huge modern cabin close to the ski slopes. Plenty of space for our Family gathering of 6 Adults and 5 kids. Game room in basement was awesome with ping pong, pool, basketball game, TV, Hot tub, and BBQ. Only real issue was the rug is coming up a bit in the basement and our kids (with bare feet) kept stepping on the tacking strips. Cable TV did not work in one of the bedrooms and maintenance was quick to respond/fix. Overall, it’s an awesome cabin and we all had a great time!

We stayed here in October with another family. Two couples and 6 kids total. The game room was a huge hit. The house lives up to the pictures. Saw a family of bears walk through woods by patio. Great hot tub. Very spacious. Lots of room to spread out. Comfortable beds. Great TV for watching movies. Lovely visit. Thanks!

Fun family trip!

Our family of eight adults and three children ages 4 to 9 throughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful log home. It was conveniently located to downtown Steamboat Springs but far enough away to see some wildlife. Any questions we had were quickly answered. We would highly recommend this VRBO!

I’m giving this rating of 4 stars only because the house is wonderful and the owners / property managers (Doug & Cathy) are excellent to work with. First, the good stuff. This is a beautiful property and highly recommended for a quiet “Family” with children. The bunk room is perfect for kids and the four rooms are set up nicely with very comfortable beds. You will get some great sleep in this house. The game room has fun activities for all. Nice Sonos sound bars convenient to connect into. The Wifi is outstanding! Three of us were able to work from the house Friday morning with no bandwidth issues. The location is great, just a quick drive down to town or even walking distance to to the slope area. They mention quiet hours in the advertisement, “Loud Parties, music or outside gatherings on the decks after quite hours are not tolerated.” the warning is not strong enough and should include that even indoor conversations after quiet hours (10:00pm) will not be tolerated. In attempt to respect the quiet hours, our group stayed indoors gathered in the kitchen with low music. However, voices of a group talking and laughing trying to catch up with each other will carry. The property shares a wall with a “light sleeper” VERY sensitive to noise. He came to our door on our very first night. Upon opening the door, he began to shout at us with profanities to “shut it down.” This was very disturbing to all, and frightening to the ladies. This ruined rest of the weekend for us. We were afraid to leave any windows open or have any music on and the house was hot with no air flow. We are a group of professionals in our 50’s and 60’s. Three of us had to work the next morning at 7:00 am. I just don’t see how you could have even 8 people in a home and be quiet enough for the adjacent neighbor to be satisfied. I asked the owners to give the unreasonable man my number so he could call me if he heard anything to avoid any further confrontation. I honestly feel for the owners because it is not their fault that this man lives next door. The only solution I can think of is to limit occupancy to 6 adults during summer open window months. It is not fair to think any 14 people can keep quiet enough for this neighbor even while trying to respect the quiet hours and remain inside. I will lose a lot of money on this weekend because I plan to return all the money to my friends and family that originally shared the expense of weekend getaway.

We had a great girls retreat and was a great place to stay and enjoy the weekend.

This house is so beautiful and fun. The pool table, basketball game, foosball game, and hot tub just added to the fun and ambiance of a truly lovely home. All the beds were comfortable , which isn't always the case in a house that sleeps 14. Rent this place for your vacation. You won't regret it.

Great for families. Kids enjoyed pool table and pop a shot. The house is well stocked. We would stay there again.

This was perfect! Kids had a blast and ski resort was very close. Backyard is perfect for sledding but beware of the wild moose!
