Fabulous location, everything that you need has been considered, tea, coffee, milk, loaf of bread, marmalade. Tea and hand towels in the kitchen, along with glasses and cutlery. There is an oven, hob and fridge so you have all that you need or there are local take always. Great hosts who give a home from home experience. The property is dog friendly and there are great walks on the doorstep. central to lots of local sights, experiences and walks.

Only that we were there for just one night! Wish we could have stayed longer and didn’t have to go to work on Monday!

everything, the location is fantastic, the building is gorgeous, everything you need and more, such a unique stay. the owners were incredibly lovely, Elaine gave us a little history on the place on arrival, took us to the living room and then left us to discover the building ourselves.

Beautiful setting and location. Easy to find and amazing hosts. Steve, Elaine and Elsa were so lovely and made us feel very welcome. The Tower is beautifully presented and very cosy. The rooms are small, but well laid out and the kitchen is spacious enough to prepare meals and cook. We will look to return as it is such a beautiful setting and the canal walks from the cottage are amazing

No issues at all. We were very happy with the stay, the building and the hosts. Our dogs were safe and comfortable in the house too

Everything. Such a cute little house but with everything you could need for a very comfortable and cosy stay. Location incredible so peaceful and loads of walks for the furry friend. Instantly relaxed. Steve and Elaine are superb hosts.

Having to go home !

We booked with the intention of being out during the day and relaxing in the accommodation on an evening. Its a fantastic setting overlooking the cromford canal and the tower is immaculate. You’ll need to drive to pubs and restaurants. The owners are great and thoughtful.

For such a small footprint the accommodation is brilliantly laid out to ensure that the space is comfortable. The added little extras such as the log burner at this time of year was very handy and make it feel very homely. It's a fantastic location to start exploring from with a beautiful natural setting. The tower is full of industrial history also which is great to see and read about. A fantastic use to ensure its longevity and that the towers story is continued. The hosts hospitality and communication brilliant throughout providing get advice and recommendations to assist in enjoying the wider area. A thoroughly enjoyable break within accommodation we would be highly recommending to others.

Not much of note. Only slight issue is sleeping arrangement in terms of bed location so close to the outer wall. Space is tight so totally understand why positioned where it is just makes is difficult to access for one person. Other than that could not fault the place. For such a small footprint it felt very roomy and comfortable.

property was spotless, with good amenities for our nights stay. there was a lovely information package provided with history of the surrounding area which we loved as we could have insight to where we were staying. the hosts were very helpful and welcoming!

Our only issues was the tight driveway down - this was our fault though as we hadn’t read on the website about this prior and took a very large car.

Lovely location, hosts very friendly, has everything needed within the property for self catering, beautiful views out the window, easy to find with details provided by hosts.

Nothing! By no means a negative but if you’re travelling during bad weather I’d be careful going down the hill to get to the property as it’s verrrry steep! Thank you for a lovely stay!!

A gorgeous property set in beautiful woodland. I first noticed it during a walk along Cromford canal several months ago and decided that I must stay there. I wasn’t disappointed. It’s finished to a high standard and the owners of the property are lovely. The tower is next to their house, however you still feel secluded. Our four legged friend was made to feel very welcome.We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending to friends.

There isn’t anything not to like! A perfect getaway!
