Location

The place wasn’t really set up for paying guests. The care of their big dogs was their focus… dog and cat food bags in the kitchenette, dog beds everywhere outside. Nowhere to sit inside the house and relax only the bed…

Anneke and Breck are a very friendly and hospitable couple. I was made very welcome to their home and though I did not take them up on their offer, I was invited to come in and watch their TV etc. The accommodation is attached to the main home and connects via a hallway, with its own bathroom and kitchenette. The shower is excellent: hot water and very good pressure. Breakfasts were 'full-English' with plenty of options and alternatives: very tasty and filling. It's in a nice location with a beach walk not far away: unfortunately the weather was poor and I was unable to fully walk as I'd hoped. Location is about 10-15 mins drive from city centre. Anneke and Breck provided a wealth of tourist information and brochures.

There was nothing that I disliked, but people should be aware that dogs and cats are part of the family.

Nowhere to sit inside .

Location was handy to town, very quiet and easy access to lovely harbour walk. Enjoyable breakfast and Breck and Anna were excellent hosts. It was a different experience with the presence of lovely animals.

The tea making tray next to the tub in the laundry with packets of cat and dog food was disconcerting. The room was basic just the bed and the mirror in the hallway.

The owners are very nice and helpful. Their dogs are beautiful and friendly. The bed was comfortable, the place was quiet and private. The breakfasts cooked by the owners were wonderful. Defeniely would like to return.
