Location is great. Close to train station in Vleuten so it's easy to visit Utrecht. The room was very spacious. Comfortable common space inside and outside.

There is no AC and the windows in the room can only be opened a tiny bit which is pretty bad on hot summer days and nights. There is an electric fan at least.

What an absolute delight, beautiful and peaceful accomodation with a host who was so considerate. We had a car and the parking and access was easy. The host kindly provided excellent details on transport into Amsterdam and Utrecht for us and for local sights and bikes to hire. I would highly recommend this place and a big thank you to our host, Mieke for making it such a special part of our holiday.

Absolutely nothing!

The room was very spacious, perfect in every detail, with a shared lounge having stunning view to the green field. We feel like we were at home! The breakfast is personally prepared for each guest and beautifully served. We would prefer to have more days enjoying The Lodge!

The bed was not very comfortable for us, but this is very personal item.

The host was very kind and helped us with the transportation during our stay. The room was pretty big, clean, quiet and nice. The surroundings are amazing, really beautiful.

Beautiful room, great bathroom, very nice host. We didn't even know there would be a sharing living room, so we were very delighted. It had a wonderful glass wall with view on field, one of the best things about this stay. There was a coffee machine and water heater with tea bags, which made our morning even better. Our stay was very peaceful and comfy. Definetely recommend!!

It was wonderful staying @The Lodge! The peace and quiet there is overwhelmingly beautiful and the view from the building is simply breathtaking! Mieke was so friendly and hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

An amazing place with attention to detail. A very quiet location with scenic views over the fields but at the same time at a walking distance to the center of the village. Very clean and nicely decorated rooms offering great comfort, free coffee, etc. The breakfast was amazing, very rich using home made and local products. Very nice owner who gave us advice for renting bikes, restaurants, etc. The shared living room offers great views and is ideal for relaxation. Available fridge with drinks where you can serve yourself and note what you have consumed. Overall: we had a great stay and if coming back to the area, would stay there again.

We really loved the place, it was so calm and relaxing. The breakfast was excellent and our host Mieke made us feel welcome and at home.

The bed had 2 mattresses and not one, but it was manageable.

The room was well designed, very modern. Complementary tea and other things were at our disposal. The room was well cleaned and was nicely scented. The common room was also very nice, spacious and has a beautiful view of the scenic fields stretching from the side of the house. The whole lodge looks amazing, the surrounding is amazing and the hosts were friendly and prepared everything well and nicely. Can highly recommend for both leisure and business as it is very nicely organized (we saw that the lodge has a nice businesses floor with a lot of nice possibilities for forming a working environment). The location is also really nice, a little distant from the city, but for us it it was really good due to the nice surrounding nature and cozy feeling that came with it. All in all a really nice diamond within the mists of a swampy area :) that can be recommended to anyone.

We had a wonderful experience at the Lodge. Mieke was extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early. The room was very comfortable and quiet, the amenities were great and the breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the garden and the peaceful view from the upstairs lounge room a lot. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.

Cozy, beautiful and peaceful place. Decorated with style and quality. We were warmly welcomed and had a very comfortable stay. Loved the view from the 2nd floor living space and the breakfast outside in the terrace was perfect. Thank you :)
