Check in was easy and they replied right away with any questions we had. Had well enough lighting for evening out in the pool and babrq.

This a a great little house we enjoyed our stay here and it was perfect for us.

My Lab and I could not have had a better vacation. The house was clean and very comfortable. The pool and yard were perfect. We were 5 minutes from the beach by foot and 2 minutes by car. Hope to stay here next year, too.

This is a great, pet-friendly home that features a pool and nice outdoor space. The location is prime to walk to the beach (about 0.5 miles). We also walked to Coffee Waves each morning (0.8 miles) while it was still cool in the mornings. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us!

We had a great time staying! Had an issue with electric thanks to a storm but I was able to handle it and was checked on the next day to make sure everything was ok - very much appreciate the communication! We will definitely come back and stay again. The location is absolutely perfect! Also, LOVE the access to a washer and dryer - super helpful!

My wife and I brought out dogs to Port Aransas to celebrate our anniversary. It was a very relaxing long weekend. The pool area is great with a downstairs bathroom and changing area. We loved the upstairs, wrap-around balcony with the sundeck in the back, and inside the house was perfect for cooking dinner and watching TV. The beach is definitely walking distance if you're not carrying a bunch of stuff, but we took the car during the day. Very close to all of the coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. Great place! We'll definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. We really liked the house layout. Every room was very comfortable and relaxing. We also liked how close the property is to the beach. We would stay here again as well as recommend it to others.

Comfort & enjoy

Overall the 4 nights we stayed here were really nice. The kitchen and living room were spacious enough for my 3 person family and the swimming pool was very nice. I rated the listing a 3 because the listing isn’t too specific when it comes to the actual property. The top floor is the actual place you stay at and the bottom level is kinda left to your imagination. I only knew we were able to access the bottom level after reading all the reviews on the property and learning how to access the back half of the down stairs area. I guess I could have easily messaged the manager but I feel like that’s something that should be included on the listing. The front half of the lower part of the property can not be accessed and I’m not sure if that’s a property that can be rented out as well. It does have a “B” at the front door and the top level has an “A” so I’m assuming it is. The issue I see with this is the listing advertises about having a private pool but we were kinda wondering at what point another family will pull up and we would have to share the property. Another issue we had while being there was that there were A LOT of flies and gnats inside the house and we could not find out where they were coming from. It seemed like as soon as we would kill them we would have a couple more buzzing around us so we actually never ate at the property because we were kinda grossed out by it. Two other issues we had were the apps on the TV weren’t working very well so the TV would just reset on its own in the middle of a show so we couldn’t really just hang out to watch TV and the other one was that there was mold on the shower ceiling and all AC vents which may be a health hazard. Overall the stay was OK and I would be willing to stay at the property again if these issues were addressed. I hope this review finds its way to the management company in hopes these issues get taken care of. I hate to leave bad reviews but I feel that I needed to share our experience.

This was a fantastic property that was enjoyed by the entire family. The location was perfect and just a quick turn down the road to the beach. The property was clean, stocked with essentials, and the communication to check in was everything we needed. Additionally, I appreciated the binder of content that outlines rules and things to know around the house. I know the next time we stay here we will certainly book this property again!

The pool is amazing- great size and clean and well shaded in the afternoon. It’s not mentioned in the listing, but there’s also a full bathroom and mini fridge accessible from the pool. The house needs a deep clean- badly. There’s dog hair on the furniture and the ceiling fans are filthy. Property managers were responsive and quick to fix the sliding patio door that didn’t lock. One of the bunk bed ladders wasn’t fastened with hardware and fell off while our 3 year old was climbing up it. The pool makes me want to stay here again, but I give it 1 star for cleanliness.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again and will recommend. Only issue (if you want to call it a problem. It was an issue for us) was to many TV remotes difficult to figure out which would make it work.

My husband and I had a great get away at this home! Nice and clean, close to the beach and in the middle of the island close to food and bars. Private pool is awesome. We will be back next year!

This was our third stay at this property and we can’t wait until trip number 4! The location, the proximity to food options, and the water, both pool and ocean, is priceless.

The pool was wonderful! Location was easy enough to walk to the beach, but a golf cart made it even better ;) very comfortable king size bed. Would stay again!

Enjoyed location of home in reference to things to do

The house was exactly as advertised. The pool was the best part of our stay. We would definitely stay again. We did have a few issues with the tv's and the dryer. None of these were deal-breaker for us and they did send a repair man right away. They dryer was beyond repair.

Every year we take our 5 kids to Port Aransas for a beach vacation. This year, our normal rental house was unavailable, so we chose the Big Nauti. It was just the right size and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Plus, it has a private pool and so close to the beach! We will definitely stay here again!

Our stay here was great and will definitely be booking again. Wife and I wanted a nice getaway and this house was exactly that! Location of the house to the beach was a short 1 minute drive or 5 minute walk with our dogs. The house is very quiet as we did not hear any of the neighbors.

Very clean and nice property

Overall we had an enjoyable stay in the Big Nauti. It's a very cozy place and having the private pool was a huge bonus. The kitchen was well appointed and we were able to find all the tools and cookware required to cook our meals that we didn't bring with us. The beds were fairly comfy. Having a king bed in the master was nice. There were a few minor maintenance issues I'll mention in the hopes they'll be addressed for future renters. The latch on the upper gate was basically being held on by rusted out screws that fell apart at the lightest touch. No biggy as the the gate had enough friction to hold itself closed, but clearly it had been that way for a while with no attention. There was less than one full roll of toilet paper in the entire house. We had to supply our own to get by toward the end of our stay. Just a heads up to future renters. It's not really made apparent in any of the descriptions, but the back door on the lower level next to the pool is accessible using the same key code as to access the main house. In there you'll find a small fridge, charcoal and tools for the grill, some pool toys and a second bathroom. Otherwise all the other rooms on the lower floor are locked from the inside barring entry. We figured this out on the last day after I'd already bought charcoal for the grill. Also we could have scored a spare roll of toilet paper for the main house had we known this. Lastly, there was an issue with the management company I must bring up out of principle. A few hours after we checked out I realized that I'd left an expensive Tempur-pedic pillow on the bed that belongs to me. I called and spoke to a gentleman that said he'd call the housekeeping staff and give me a call back to let me know if it is still in the house or whether they took it to lost-and-found. I've never received a call back to this day. However, the next day just before we were about to physically depart Port A, I called the company again, they took my info, put me on hold, hung up on me and again never returned my phone call. They obviously know who I am because I was the last customer to stay there and they have my phone number because they texted me several times prior to my stay. So anyways, I get it that it's my fault that I left something behind, but this behavior of two separate individuals just dropping it like a hot potato didn't sit well with me. Highly unprofessional. I'm sure some housekeeper is enjoying a restful night's sleep on my pillow.
