The house was perfect for our annual girls trip. The short walk to the beach was nice and the neighborhood is quiet. Would definitely recommend.

This property was ideal for our multi generational family vacation. The pool was an absolute joy.

This rating is all over the place because the house seemed nice, but we only stayed 24 hrs and they were miserable because the furnace did not work. We checked in on 23Dec and realized late at night (22 degrees outside) that there was no heat. I spent Christmas Eve trying to get moved to another house. While things do happen, the furnace guy told us that this thing clearly had not been able to work in a long time. The corrosion was bad. It appears that no one had done any maintenance, so when we got there and tried to turn it on it was discovered. After 24 hrs of 48 degrees in a home, we did get moved to another house and all was right with the world :)

The house was in an excellent location. Close walking distance to beach Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The pool was a great feature. I was there with my children and adult grandchildren and we had a great time. If there was any that would be an improvement it would be to have some beach chairs that you could use for the beach.

Everything on one level. House was VERY clean. Kitchen was very well stocked. (nonstick pans could use a little update). All 5 TV's run on Roku, so take your passwords for your apps. Not needed for local TV service. I do not like South Carolina's cable service but that's just my opinion. Pool and patio was a good mix of sun and shade thru out the day. Had to call for pool service to clean leaves from bottom on Tues/came Wed. but landscaper blew pine needles for us on Tuesday. Plenty of room for our 8. Just a little inconvenient walk to beach if taking chairs and umbrellas. Fine if just walking to and from. Would order beach set up next time. Would rent again for sure.

Barnyard Cove is an amazing neighborhood. You truly feel like you are in another place as you walk and bike through the old trees and moss. The house is clean and well equipped. The walk to the beach is easy. The pool is wonderful to cool off in the afternoons. We had a great time and would certainly book again. And Vacasa could not be a more accommodating and nice booking site.

Love the layout of this fully equipped house! Has everything you need. Enjoyed the pool the most! Only negative comment was about queen mattresses. Would definitely stay here again.

We've rented a lot of VRBO homes and this one is at the top of the list. The home is very comfortable for a large family. Separate bathrooms for each bedroom is nice. The floor plan is open and the decorations are great for HHI. The cleaning service did a very thorough job. The pool is good size (recommend heat for the cooler months - but it is pricey). The location is perfect. Beach is walkable, or ride your bikes there in just a few minutes. It's not 1st-3rd row, but it's also a fraction of the cost of those homes. The area around the home is spectacular. We will be back, whether with our extended family or with friends. We highly recommend this place, but leave some future openings for us! :)

Sea pines in amazing!! Loved this property the pics online were nice but property was perfect. Close walk to beach and pool heater was 90 degrees for our stay in March!

Our stay included my husband and I, our 3 kids with their spouses and our granddaughter. The house was very clean and spacious for all 9 of us, plenty of towels and fully furnished kitchen with all utensils and pots and pans needed to cook. We really enjoyed being able to cook some meals in but also go out for meals. Nice pool setting for when we didn’t want to make the trek to the beach. Overall, we had a wonderful trip and made a lot of wonderful memories.

There were a couple of things I would’ve like to see in better condition; almost all of the dishes and pots and pans were very dirty and needed to be washed before use, and the pool was dirty and very cloudy. My suggestion is to have someone clean it thoroughly and then come out mid week to clean it again. Other than those items we loved our stay! Side note: The Stoney Baynard Ruins are 5 mins down the road! Very cool place to read about some history on the island!

Very easy process of renting this property.

House was perfect for two families with kids! Great location, super close to the beach, quick 5 minute ride or 10 minute walk (with young kids). Short distance to Salty Dog. House is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Great appliances that made for the ultimate convenience. Thanks for a great vacation!

This home was excellent and had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation! Large kitchen was especially nice when cooking big family meals. Very nice that each room has a private bathroom, too.

Excellent experience. Short walk to the beach. We rented 3 bikes for $125 for the week. Wish they had a couple beach chairs and beach towels at the house , since we flew couldn’t bring the bulky stuff. Other than that. Wonderful stay. Thank you

Great place and location... close to the ocean and cute neighborhood! Easy access to bike trails and quick ride to the South Beach shopping and Salty Dog area and Harbour Town. Tons of outside space, and inside was clean; plenty of room for six people to join together in the living room. We were shocked at the cost to heat the pool for the week. After some digging and questioning, we did find out this was normal and most places will charge similar prices. The owners were accommodating to our concerns. Only complaint is that is was advertised as a “VERY LOW COST” which we felt was misleading. They should have it in the details, as that is not low when considering all the expenses if traveling. Otherwise, great house for a family to have a great time with private spaces for alone time. We enjoyed our time here very much!

It was so nice for each family to have their own bathroom. The kitchen had plenty of pantry space. The pool was nice with plenty of seating for everyone. We had trouble with one TV and management took care of it immediately. We have stayed in many lovely homes on HHI and would rank this one at the top. We would return in a heartbeat.

This is our second time at this property for a family vacation and it served our needs perfectly. Has plenty of room, great kitchen, pool and a very short walk to the beach. Communication with property manager was positive, timely and quick. Gave us great information regarding the COVID impact at Hilton Head and very helpful with other questions. Highly recommend.

This is a great house that is close to the beach and the South Beach area. Great layout for families. Also, new large TV in the Living room.

Overall we had a great week and the location of the house could not have been better. Close to beach, bike paths, Salty Dog, Harbourtown and Coligny areas. The home itself is ideal for guests with each room having a private bath. However we did have a very poor check in experience. On day of check in, we were called at 5:15pm to say the house was ready — an hour after the 4:00 scheduled time. As the first holiday weekend in post Covid 19 era, that was understandable. We arrived to a cleaning crew still in the house, which left as soon as we arrived for some reason—leaving floors not mopped, garbage from last guests not removed, refrigerator uncleaned, Pool not cleaned and an overall concern that the rest of the home may not be sanitized as you would hope in a post pandemic environment. In addition to the main TV not working which we were told by mgmt would be fixed (which is was on Tuesday), it was a reminder how important a check in process is to a good overall experience. We spent the first 3-4 hours of our stay cleaning the entire house based on our concerns. Haley at Goode did call and check in after my calls to the office, sent a cleaning person on Sunday afternoon to clean the floors and kept communication open later in the week. While we understand things happen, they did deny our request for compensation / discount of our time, effort and poor check in experience in cleaning the house ourselves.—blaming Covid 19 created havoc for them. Totally understand these are atypical times that cause atypical problems—but we could use Covid 19 the same way in how sanitizing should be the top priority for mgmt to ensure a safe stay. Overall, the property itself is very nice and we would stay there again if we could be assured the check in experience would not repeat itself.
