This home was a wonderful get-away! We had 8 people in our group with many family and friends joining us during the day. The house was more than accommodating for all of us. I could see larger families with kids enjoying this home. The "Disco Hall" would be great for kids! Also, the upstairs bedrooms were perfect for getting some naps in without the noise from crowds downstairs. The basement bar/living area with a walk out to the patio was perfect. Most of our time was spent there entertaining our guests. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals, etc. The front porch/deck was perfect for morning coffee and viewing the lake. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend this home for your future escapes!

We enjoyed our stay as we were in town for a family wedding. The property was clean and well-appointed. It had a lot of character and the decor was lovely. The only thing we could have used was an ironing board and iron as we needed to press some items for the wedding. Also, the coffee pot (Kuerig) was malfunctioning and bursting the pods, getting grounds on the counter and in your cup of coffee. As we were all coffee drinkers, this was a little disappointing. Otherwise, everything was great and as described in the listing.

My brother and I came from southen illinois with our spouses for a family reunion in Klemme. This fun house was great for all the kids. We had a total of 8 children between my brother and I (13, 11, 10, 9, 4, 3, 2 and 2 week old baby) and they loved all the fun accommodations to the house. We never heard they where bored. Would recommend for big families! House had a wonderful story. Would had loved to learn more about the houses history. Thanks so much for sharing your home with our families over the weekend, we truly appreciate it.

First view of rental was positive. The rental was very clean. Lots of attention to detail. Décor was amazing. Host was prompt in responding to questions. Would definitely stay again.

This place was a dream. It was super cute and cozy. Tons of vibe. And also tons of space. Bedrooms and beds everywhere so everyone had a place to sleep. Beds were fantastic. Kitchen was great. Game room was fun. And a couple different cozy places to hang and connect. This place is tops. We just loved it.

The house was super clean and had tons of space. The disco ball hallway was a favorite (nice touch :)). Firepit, nice back yard, lots of games, foosball, etc. Close to public beach area and a short drive to downtown. Hosts were very accommodating and easy to work with. We all had a great time!

Fantastic house! Fantastic hostess! So much of everything provided - we could have brought clothes and food PERIOD! We had 9 adults, a 3 yr old and 2 1 yr olds and everyone enjoyed every minute of our stay!

We were in Clear Lake for a family reunion. The accommodations were perfect for the 13 of us staying there. There were many little touches that made it feel like home away from home. The only thing I would say is that the stairs might be difficult for an elderly person. We loved it and would definitely recommend it!!!

A great family home for making memories with great conversations. The beach is walking distance and neighbors have a joy to meet. Lots of space to enjoy time to yourself after playing games or talking around the fire. We hope to rent next year.

We had the privilege to stay in this house for a family getaway. The owners thought of so many things to include for our stay. They have lawn chairs, corn hole boards, pack and play, etc. The house is conveniently located a short walk from the beach and the provided wagon and stroller helped us haul what we needed. The front deck and backyard were great gathering places for meals and games. The laundry allowed us to freshen up our suits and towels for another day at the beach and was handy for baby items that needed washing. Our granddaughters sure enjoyed the disco hallway. When the jet ski battery needed changing, tools were quickly delivered. We really enjoyed our time together in a place that was cozy and clean with ample room to come together as a family.

Very nice home! We felt right at home when we walked in the door! Lots of great space with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Close to two beaches and several parks.

We had 6 adults and 3 children that stayed here so it was especially wonderful having 3 bathrooms and also lots of beds to choose from. The home is well equipped with everything you will need. Sara's home was perfect for our long weekend stay. The home is immaculate, has tons of room and is perfectly situated in Clear Lake and close to activities and a quaint, picturesque downtown. Our hosts were quick to communicate and cared about our stay. I recommend their home without hesitation. Amazing place.

We had ages 9-65, and eveyone had a wonderful time! The house was amazing and we all loved the hidden passages in the upstairs! All the decorations were cute and it was a beautiful, comfortable home with all amenities! We brought 2 boats and were able to park them in the driveway and on street. Nice ramp to put in and park just a few miles up the road ( Off Crane). Will definitely try and stay here again!!!

Wonderful and welcoming home in Clear Lake Iowa! All the right touches to accommodate adults and children! Outdoor toys for the little ones, lots of beach toys and even a cooler for trips to the beach, patio for all to gather for barbeques while watching the kids play in the large back yard. Perfect!

Highly recommended! I have used VRBO numerous times on several states and this is at the top of the list by far!! This house has all the amenities you would need to cook and entertain! Everything clean and fresh! High quality beds and linens! Lots of room for socializing and gatherings with two rooms that have x-large sofas and big screens for watching football games! Nice touch of decorations for the holidays to make it feel extra homey! The owner is fantastic to work with and response time is fast! We’ve stayed twice already!

What a great place for our family Christmas gathering. Plenty of beds...room to gather...and enough unique touches to keep the little kids excited. Highly recommend.

My siblings and all our kids have had three family gatherings at the house and it works great for us! The kids can play in the basement, there is plenty of dining seating and kitchen space. We will definitely be back!

We had a large group of 8 adults and 5 children - all of us in town for a family wedding. Lots of people to get "fancied" up. The three bathrooms and on-demand water heater made it so simple! Some rentals are rather sterile with an atmosphere like a hotel....this felt like staying with family. It was so homey and comfortable. Every need we may have had was taken care of. Communication with the hosts was great. I would recommend this home to all of my family and best friends, so you know it was great!

Celebrated our moms 91st birthday. There was 10 of us. Excellent beds and sleeping arrangements. Very clean, beautiful. An older home with its own neat personality. If you are looking for a place for a family get away don't pass this home up.

We were very pleased with this clean, quaint home. The little ones loved all the secret passages! It’s close to a beach and park and only a short drive to downtown and a boat ramp. It ended up being a chilly weekend so we were able to use the fire ring each evening.

We had 14 adults staying at this location. It was a good size for us for a weekend stay. Plenty of space to hang out. Enjoyed the backyard for cook outs and yard games. Close walk to the beach. House is clean and well equipped with things you’ll need for your stay.
