I have stayed here 3 or 4 times now, the staff are friendly and helpful staff. The rooms and bathrooms are kept nice & clean. The bed sheets& warm duvet are always clean and fresh. The shower has good water pressure, and the water stays hot no matter how long you take. The rooms are spacious. Even in the 14-bed rooms, there is still plenty of space. There are lockers for safety. The rooms are nice and warm in winter. This hostel is in a great location very close to all transport, cafes/bars and everything you need to enjoy. I will come and stay here again.

I was a little surprised at the price this time as it isn't peek season(02.02.24), and I was in a 14-bed room, which is usually cheaper. I paid less in November for an 8 bed room. But that said, the prices are still reasonable compared to some other places. I really don't have any complaints about this place. The staff and rooms are always pleasant.

For the amount of money stat you spend for one night it is very comfortable and you’ve got everything you need.

The other people in my room where really chatty and they turned the big light on when it was 3 o clock in the night so I didn’t slept so well. Also maybe a rug in the bathroom would be really nice. The rainshower was a really nice add-on if it would be working.

Je me suis rendue dans cet établissement qui m’a renvoyé vers leur hostel, qui n’est pas sur le même immeuble. Après m’être perdue, j’ai enfin retrouvé le deuxième immeuble ( ce qui n’est pas du tout noté dans la description). Deuxième étage mais beaucoup d’escaliers à monter surtout lorsqu’on a des bagages, mais le pire dans tout ça c’était lorsque je suis rentrée dans cette chambre de 14 personnes : j’étais choquée par l’obscurité et les odeurs. Je n’aurais jamais pu dormir dans cette chambre. En plus y avait que des garçons donc là j’étais mal alaise. Je suis repartie voir l’accueil qui a gentiment accepté de me mettre dans une autre chambre pour six personnes mais j’ai dû payer la différence (ce qui est tout à fait normal). Pas de serviettes ni de sèches cheveux: si vous voulez vous sécher les cheveux vous devez déposer 20€ de caution et 3 euros pour des serviettes !! Nettoyage douteux de la dame qui fait le ménage qui passe un coup de par terre même pas sous les meubles (poussiéreux). En 3min c’était fait. Elle ne prend même pas la peine de bien nettoyer la salle de bain. Un minimum de désinfection serait appréciable même si ce n’est pas un hôtel haut de gamme. Pour résumer : le personnel est sympathique surtout la dame , l’emplacement est super mais le reste est vraiment médiocre!

fiquei perto da janela e mesmo com ela fechada senti frio, achei que os cobertores poderiam ser melhores, e havia uma recepcionista extremamente rude no local.

Ubicación, limpio, personal amable, está muy bien para únicamente dormir en una corta estancia, calientito, como se ve en las previas fotos.

Las escaleras interminables y un tanto inseguras de la habitación con baño propio (pones a prueba tu condición física 😂)

Not a good place for staying. You can find better options at the same price. I didn't find it a comfortable place. I am not even able to sit on the bed properly( because there is very little space between the two bunk beds).

The location of the place was ideal. I could easily moved around the city by walking.

the stair of the building are very tight! Since I have a leg problem it was not that easy to come up the stairs.

La cercanía con el centro de la cuidad y los puntos clave de Ámsterdam (barrio rojo, canales, estación central, restaurantes). Adicionalmente, fueron muy amables en la recepción y me permitieron hacer un early check out.

Los baños dentro de la habitación tenían un olor a cañería insoportable, no había división entre el sanitario y la ducha y todo terminaba mojado después de darte un baño. No existe privacidad entre los huespedes y se escucha lo que dejan caer en las habitaciones cercanas.

You have to pay 5€ to keep your luggage there after check out. The bathroom didn’t have anything to put or hang the stuff

Bed bugs I got covered in bites. No window. Lumpy pillow. Mattress wasn’t a proper mattress. Very very small bed like a crib. Shower was flooding unsuitable covered in hair. Staff were helpful good location but the property and accommodation itself was wholly uninhabitable even for a night.

Lack of air conditioning 🥵

The staff was extremely nice, open for questions, and gave many recommendations about laundry places next to the hostel, cafes, good restaurants... they are very resourceful and can speak English fluently. Also, the locker in one of the rooms could fit my luggage bag, but in the other room I took, it couldn't fit, which wasn't a problem, since it fits under the bed. The shower is spacious, and have hot water running 24/7. The hostel is a 5 min walk from Dam Square, 10 min walk from Red Light District, and 7 min walk from central station. It has numerous restaurants, supermarkets, bike rentals, and bars in 1 min walking radius Other people in the room were respectful and everyone minded their own business. It felt very safe staying with strangers, which is fantastic.

Unfortunately, my only comment is that the mattresses although very clean! They were soft and narrow which was uncomfortable for me, and the pillows were small and too soft for my neck. Something I didn't mind at all, and I actually liked as part of the hostel experience, are the stairs which are narrow and steep, but I'm good with that. If you have back problems, make sure to be on the first floor.
