No wifi

The rooms were good and the staff were very friendly and cooperative especially Mr. Fahd. The food in the buffet was normal but the other restaurants were perfect especially the Lebanese and the Italian restaurant.

The telecommunications network in the hotel is very bad calling and the internet.

The hospitality was excellent,especially Mr. Ragab in reception, he was helpful and eager to make us happy .

The resort is nicer than what I expected, the rooms were spacious and have everything we needed, the pool is huge, they have a lot of restaurants for sure you will find something you will like to eat, I will stay there again on my next vacation.

The internet signal is very bad But what’s really annoying is that guests are allowed to smoke in common areas, they should have a designated area for smoking.

Every thing was amazing Hospitality Food Beach

The staff were super friendly and the place is so cozy. The pool was good, clean and of great space. Rooms are close to everything, which is a great advantage. Hotel is very quiet, simple and relaxing.

First of all there is no signal/network at almost all the hotel especially in the rooms and we weren’t informed about this. Second the food was average, lower than expectations for a 5-star hotel. Third we tried the oriental restaurant at the hotel which had very small portions. Fourth the lightening of the room is so poor, the rooms are almost dull even with the brightest lights on. Fifth I recommend turning on some chill music by the pool.

We stayed at Grand Makkadi in late July 2023. Nestled in a picturesque location, this resort promises an unforgettable experience filled with amenities, friendly staff service, and a wide range of activities for guests of all ages. 1. Location and Ambiance: Situated on the pristine shores of Makkadi, Grand Makkadi boasts breathtaking views of the crystal-clear waters and lush landscapes (beach is very rocky though, however, you can walk on the boardwalk/pier and jump right in with the colorful fish). The hotel's architecture seamlessly blends authentic elegance with local charm, creating an inviting atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Whether you're lounging by the pool or strolling along the private beach, tranquility and serenity surround you at every turn. 2. Accommodations: The hotel offers a variety of luxurious accommodations to suit every guest's preference. From spacious rooms to lavish suites, each accommodation is tastefully decorated with authentic furnishings (a bit old though) and equipped with modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs. The attention to detail ensures a comfortable stay for all guests. 4. Dining Experience: While the main restaurant may not have offered the best food, Grand Makkadi makes up for it with multiple restaurants serving delectable cuisine from around the world. With four types of restaurants - Egyptian Oriental, Italian, Caribbean, and Asian - guests can enjoy a diverse range of culinary experiences. It is mandatory to book these restaurants in advance as they tend to get busy. Each restaurant offers a unique dining experience, from fine dining establishments offering gourmet dishes to casual eateries serving international favorites. Every meal is prepared with precision using fresh ingredients. The all-inclusive package allows guests to indulge in unlimited food and beverages throughout their stay except for some items on the menu that are for extra charge. 5.

Limited Mobile Service and Inadequate Wi-Fi Coverage: It is important to note that there is poor mobile service within the hotel premises and Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby area with slow speed. Unfortunately, room Wi-Fi comes at an additional cost. 2. Snack Bar Restrictions: Guests should be aware that snacks can only be enjoyed at the snack bar and cannot be taken to the pool or beach areas. However, drinks are served throughout the premises. 3. Lack of In-Room Irons: Regrettably, irons are not provided in guest rooms at the hotel. Instead, guests are required to utilize the hotel's ironing service, which incurs additional charges. By addressing these concerns and enhancing the positive aspects of the hotel experience, the hotel can ensure that guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel is amazing and the staff are super friendly and are always ready to help and go the extra mile. Special shout out to Mr. Fahed and Mr. Al Gendi from reception, they were the best. Also the animation team was exceptional. Will definitely come again.

the lobby was nice

they made our friends stay in a freshly painted room and it took an unreasonable amount of effort to explain to them that they had to switch rooms for health reasons. the paint fumes still have on of my friends a headache for two days because he spent one hour in the room. the second room had sheets that smelled like an ashtray. the food was terrible and kitchen sanitation was bad also. the private beach had generous fire reefs in it so swimming was already going to be very difficult before they completely disallowed it because of a little wind. the staff was rude when we tried to get our money back after one night because everything we wanted to enjoy was not available. food, comfortable rooms, snorkeling, all were very below standard.
