Nothing, the apartment was disgusting as was the outside of the property and the area.

The property had a disgusting smell, mould on the walls, one of the walls had no wallpaper/paint and had been freshly plastered with the adjoining wall also having peeling paint and showing signs of damp/mould. No bed linen provided, dog mess outside and other houses in the street had windows smashed in/boarded up. We decided not to remain at this property for the week, which had been recommended by Booking.com as a previous property had let us down. No refund given. Book this property at your peril !!

There was a lot of noisy neighbours which were also sitting on our door step all day drinking. This didn’t make us feel particularly safe.

Location is brilliant

the instructions regarding operating the heater wasn't clear. Host appeared to assume that everybody knows how to operate a boiler. The host or the contact would not answer their phone to talk and we kept sending messages back and forth while my young children (4 and 1) were freezing before i could get the boiler to work. It was very frustrating. He could have just answered the phone and talk me through the process. the door handle to the bathroom was always falling off. most of the doors in the flat could not be closed because either the doors was wider than the door way or the door wasn't well-aligned and as a result, it was difficult to keep the heat in one room. it didn't feel like a flat in the UK in terms of the finishing - Doors!!! the bed Sheets where not clean/fresh. Whoever was supposed to clean the place merely reused the ones by the previous guest. They smelled from being used and there were stains and hair on them.

Comfortable beds. Nice sized rooms, especially the twin bedroom. Prompt response from owners including the flat being hoovered and cleaned properly within 24 hours of us raising the issue.

Hadn't been properly cleaned upon arrival. Plug in bathroom sink was jammed and the shower temperature was either scalding hot or freezing cold. The bathroom door didn't open properly. No key for the back door so only one exit route in case of emergency. The front bedroom window wouldn't close and the front of the property had building rubble outside.
