Great location for a concert at Wells Fargo Arena and other downtown activities like the farmers market.

I was in Des Moines with my two young daughters to go see a show at the Civic Center. This condo was the perfect location for us. Although the condo has a free parking space, I did not use it based on the description that it would be a tight squeeze for vans. I instead parked in the public parking garage at 3rd & Court (for only $5 overnight), which is connected to the skywalk that goes to the condo building. We weren't sure how to get from the skywalk to the main entrance of the building, but we eventually found the right path and stairway down. Then we followed the steps that the host provided to get into the condo. My daughters thought the check-in process was like a fun scavenger hunt, following the clues and pictures and using the numeric codes. We were thrilled to walk in and see the beautiful space and fun city view. We got take-out food that night from Court Ave Brewing Company, just a couple blocks away. And we again used the skywalk to go to the Civic Center. The 3 of us slept comfortably. It was the weekend and there was a lot of street noise, but I left the bathroom vent on for white noise and we weren't bothered. We enjoyed our stay very much. The host was great too, with quick replies when I contacted him.

The property was very nice and comfortable. A great location for downtown Des Moines events right on the skywalk system. Also a great location for lots of restaurants and drinking establishments. On site parking is a very big plus too. We will definitely stay here again

I don’t have a negative thing to say about this property. It was a great place and a great location. As others mention, the check in process involves a few steps, but the host does a great job of detailing exactly what you need to do. We didn’t have any issues getting keys or parking. Bed was extremely comfortable and the projector/tv was a bonus. Tons of bars and restaurants in walking distance and host was extremely responsive and flexible. We will definitely stay here again!

It was a fun getaway in Des Moines. Located near many attractions. Check in is a little confusing but once we figured it out it was no problem. Owner was easy to contact.

We booked this property for a long weekend getaway for our anniversary. Location was perfect to ensure we were close to all the downtown activities. Check-in was fairly easy despite the lengthy instructions. Would recommend!

Kyle's place was great and perfect for my wife and I. Kyle was very accommodating and responsive when we had a question. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Thank you for sharing your condo with us, Kyle. It was in such a convenient location and it worked perfectly for our stay! It was very nice to have skywalk access in the building and we were were within a very short walking distance to numerous downtown restaurants and the Wellmark YMCA (we were visiting to attend a swim meet there, so it was an extra plus!). The condo was clean, updated, and well stocked with everything we needed. If we are ever back in Des Moines, we will definitely stay here again :-)

The space was beautiful, and Kyle did an awesome job getting it set up for me and my toddler, who needed a pack-n-play. However, there were an insane amount of instructions and I was given wrong codes on how to even get in the building. When I tried to call(several times), the phone went straight to voicemail. The only reason I was able to get in was because a very kind security guard let me in and helped me on the scavenger hunt to figuring it out. The directions could have been much simpler. If you have young children I do not recommend booking this place.

My daughter and I stayed here for a competition at the event center. This place is great! Walking distance to restaurants, Hy Vee grocery store and skywalk access located in the building. The apartment had all the amenities we needed and was super clean and organized. There’s a yummy Sushi and Thai restaurant in the building as well. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend

Loved the location! Right where we needed to be. A very nice space, clean and with up to date technology. Great TV system and wonderful view. Everything was walkable and parking is available. We would stay here again without any hesitation

This was a lovely place to stay! It’s beautifully decorated, super clean, & in a gorgeous old building. The location was perfect for attending an event at the Iowa Events Center. It was a short .4 mile walk that was so simple even a directionally-challenged person like myself couldn’t mess it up. It was also an easy walk (2ish blocks) to HyVee if you need groceries. A couple of minor drawbacks— parking nearby first, then getting into the building, getting keys from a lockbox, getting your car and parking in the garage, getting from garage through the teeniest spiral staircase (I am a small person (5’4”, 120lb) and it was tight) and then finding the room was a bit of a challenge for the directionally-challenged, which, as I mentioned earlier, is me. However, the owner has it all very clearly laid out, with pictures. But the door code had changed since I last saw my messages (entirely my fault) and all of the codes and directions are in different spots in the app, so getting into the building was a little frazzling at first. A very kind tenant helped me! So my advice is simply to have all of that prepared ahead of time (a list of the codes and directions) and it will be a breeze. Other minor things - getting out of the parking ramp was a tight squeeze for my SUV, and there was quite a bit of street/wind noise. All worth it, because this was a wonderful place to stay. The owners have clearly worked hard to make it a great experience. I only wish I had it for more than one night!

Loved the open floor plan. Lots of space for two people. The location is great, close to a number of restaurants and it’s great having a Hy-Vee down the block. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place that was exactly what and where we needed. The home owners kept in contact with throughout the whole time and answered questions we had. Would definitely use again
