Heating not very effective. Needed the wood burner in the main room

The cottage was absolutely stunning with the most beautiful furnishings. They were all either antique or thrift shop findings. All high quality items so fitting to the cottage. Our host, Gina was very helpful and was always available should we need anything, even down to recommending a reliable taxi company. There were little touches, such as Yorkshire tea, biscuits and fresh flowers that made the cottage feel like home. We loved our stay, it was a little enclave away from the real world. So clean and quirky but with a real feel of history too. We didn't want to leave and would 100% look to booking Cottage Pie again, we just hope word doesn't get out! :)

The cottage was beautifully decorated and comfortable. It had everything that you needed, Gina is a great host, and you can tell that she wants you to be comfortable. The cottage is so sweet and picturesque, just like a biscuit tin picture. The location is perfect as you can walk into town which has lively pubs and restaurants ti suit everyone's needs. We will diffinately visit again. Thank you, Gina, for making our stay special 🙏

Beautiful 17th century cottage full of character and comfort. Very homely, excellent facilities. Host lovely really helpful and warm welcome. Very thoughtful to customer's needs. Filled with thoughtful little luxuries to make your stay special. Would highly recommend staying at 'Cottage Pie'. Enjoyed the experience very much and would love to stay again.

There was not a thing not to like. Could not fault the host or property in any way.

The property was lovely, everything had been so well thought out! It was really well appointed and everything you could possibly have needed was there! Ideal!! The owner has clearly thought about her visitors and lovely l little touches like strawberries, milk, biscuits etc were much appreciated!

The cottage has everything you could wish for. Gina has done an amazing job of making this a really cosy home from home. Such lovely touches and fantastic style. Beautiful styling of the outdoor area too, just a gorgeous cosy place all round.
