The house had many bedrooms and beds so it was perfect for our friends and my family to meet up and enjoy quality time together. We enjoyed the game room and used the kitchen frequently. The location was great and convenient. We would stay there again.

The house was amazing. It had so much space. There were plenty of rooms for everyone. The game room was a blast. We even had a skee ball competition. We did presentations in the living room, and then had a murder mystery dinner later that night. We'll definitely be renting this house again. Thanks for everything, Steven. You're awesome!

Clean and well-kept property in Des Moines with ready access to the fun things to do in the area. Close to Merle Hay mall, easy access to the interstate for travel. Decent neighborhood with quiet neighbors! We had a blast being together for the weekend with all our kids and grandkids.

This is as advertised property plenty of room, clean, and a good quiet location. My grandchildren loved the game room as there was plenty of room for everybody. The only downer for me is the steps my wife and I are in our 70s and everywhere you went involved steps otherwise this is a great property

Reading gathering place for our family

Great place and host! Only slight downfall was the outdoor trash cans were very full and very smelly. Also the yard had not been mowed all year which was just a small inconvenience when playing yard games. But overall a very fun and good experience!

I was in love with this stay! It had plenty of space for us to play board games, hang out, and be together! I would book it again :)

We came in town for a soccer tournament and it was a perfect location between different fields and gave the players (and parents) a wonderful place to relax after matches. Kids might have played more ping pong than soccer! Thanks again

This was an ideal place for our gathering, which included 7 teens and nine adults. The game room was great for everybody, and plenty of space for those who wanted to read, etc. The teens especially enjoyed the pool with all its amenities, even though it was an excursion to get there. Nice, homey place to stay.

Stayed here with family ranging in age from littles to adults. Kids and adults had fun playing in the party room. Plenty of beds for everyone to sleep in. Location was great for shopping and finding restaurants.

This house worked perfect for our birthday/slumber party. With 4 generations ranging from 1 1/2 to 76 everyone was comfortable and had fun (especially in the game room). The home owner had a beautiful home that was nicely renovated and very accommodating!

Property was nice and easy to book and manager was easy to communicate with. Cleanliness was not quite up to my standards.

We were in DesMoine for family vacation and to go to the Iowa State Fair. We used the grill and kitchen to make most meals. We all enjoyed the game room and ping pong matches. There was plenty of room and the beds were comfortable. We would stay here again if we come back to DesMoine!

We were in town for the Junior Olympics that was hosted at Drake University and had an overall good stay. Property is nice and in a quiet neighborhood. Game room was a hit for our two kids. The home is very spacious to spread out if you have a larger family. There are a couple TVs one in the living room and one in the game room. The only downfall we had was a little trouble with the upstairs sink, but we managed and there is only one shower, but we were aware of that ahead of time and made it work. For the price we received and location to Drake University, it made the stay worth it even though there was the one shower. The location is perfect for shopping and grocery. Would consider staying again.

This was a great stay, the game room was fabulous and everyone loved to play games, talk, and visit. I especially like the kitchen and we weren't lacking with any convenience.

We had a teenager birthday party and they had a lot of fun. The only drawback was the game room is in the garage which didn’t have air conditioning so it was pretty hot in there. Otherwise it was fantastic, plenty of room for the kids to be loud on the main level while the adults could still sleep peacefully upstairs

Our stay in the Urbandale property was good. We are a reslife team from Grinnell College that retreat twice a year. We are always looking for a space that can accommodate 8 adults. The space was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Due to the heat, we barely left once there, which didn't matter because we had board games and a garage full of arcade games. The host was extremely communicative and all was smooth.

My wife and I used this property with a number of our friends for our wedding weekend! We had a wonderful time and it was comfortable with our 15-person group. There were a couple of very minor issues; the drain was a little clogged, and one of the bed frames had a broken support, but overall it was a great experience. Neither of those issues had any bearing on how much we enjoyed the space. We loved the arcade room!

We stayed in this location for an extended weekend 3 nights / 4 days. We had 3 generations with 5 adults, 3 college students, 3 high schoolers and 2 elementary schoolers. We had enough beds for everyone! Unheard of in a home this size! The game room proved extra special, as it was a space where we could all gather at the same time doing different activities. Ping Pong, Skee Ball and the video games combined with board games and playing cards. EVERYTHING is labeled! Cupboards, light switches, etc. There were enough bath towels for everyone (like 20!) Unlike a lot of places, the gas grill clean and top-notch. Nice little touches like a little basked of toothbrushes, toothpastes and other items in both bathrooms, high quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. Super cute decor - love the cow painting in the dining room. It was also very nice to have a good-sized dining room table for meals and prep. The location is superb - easy to pick up groceries and supplies close by. We went to Gray's Lake for an afternoon, which was also an easy drive. The house isn't huge - but the spaces are used efficiently - very impressive. This is not a party house - it's too nice. If you want to get together and drink a few beers - perfect. However, this is not the place to throw a rager! We highly recommend this as a place for a large low-key gathering - it's PERFECT.

Everything we looked for in a weekend retreat for our family reunion was realized in this home. Close to shopping, food, and area events. Our crew especially liked the rec area in the garage. It was a place that we spent most of the time as a group. Communication with the owner was spot on! Couldn't have asked for a better experience for our family. Until next time!

My husband and I were visiting some family, the house was just the perfect amount of space. The beds were comfortable and clean. And I especially loved the baskets in each bathroom with all the extra stuff. Also, the hang out/party room was the best! It was nice to have somewhere to hang out and not feel crammed.

House was nice, clean and updated. The group enjoyed the entertainment area. Owners were very responsive to questions.

We had a great time at this house! Everyone had plenty to do to stay busy and nobody found themselves bored. All 6 of us found plenty of group activities for everyone or we were able into break into smaller groups. If we need a spot in Des Moines again we will definitely look to rent this place again!

We celebrated my Daughter's 14th Birthday. Everyone had a blast eating and playing games.

The property was as described. The kids loved playing ping pong and the arcade game. We found a nearby beach which was also a hit. Note that there wasn't much yard space for outdoor activities. Cupboards were nicely labeled to help us find things.

We had the best weekend, this house is absolutely perfect for bachelorette parties! It’s beautiful, spacious and is everything I hoped it would have been and more. If your having a bachelorette party in the Des Moines area, I would definitely recommend this house!
