The view was very nice

Greenhill is a great location to stay in Brasov. It is located in a very quiet area (although a bit far from the historical center) and it has great views of the green hills and the brasov sign. The room itself is comfortable and moderately clean. There are huge windows (without blackout curtains) where you can look at the great view as you wake up. Great place to stay as you explore transylvania.

The hotel is pretty and modern. The garden is lovely.

We had a very disappointing experience at the hotel. The way to it is complicated and uncomfortable, there is no elevator, many stairs. Let's start with the fact that when we arrived, the receptionist was not there and ran down the stairs to us when we entered. She barely knew English and hardly understood us. She said we should inform if we want breakfast which will be between 8 and 10 (we waited the next day at 8 and there was no one. Everything is dark and empty). There was no hot water in the shower, it took 20 minutes to warm up, the stream of water so weak it's a joke. We almost canceled at this point but decided to give it a chance. We asked ahead of time for a baby bed or mattress and they happily corresponded with us. No one bothered to update that there is no possibility to add a bed (probably we wouldn't have taken the hotel if we had known) they didn't even bring another blanket or more towels. The bed is 2 single mattresses that kept moving. There was a cigarette in the ashtray on the balcony of the room. One of the receptionist open the door to our room while we were taking a nap. And just said sorry sorry. Without properly apologizing. There is no way to control the temperature in the room, the heater was on by itself and only at nighttime (it was about 7 degrees in the morning). There is no one at reception to ask for things, ever. Maybe for five minutes during the day. If you want to ask anything you need to call the phone number, that is if you are lucky to have a local sim card because there is no phone in the room. They did not explain anything to us about the use of the facilities, Wi-Fi, etc. There was not a bottle of water in the room, no kettle, no trash bin- just in the shower. The hotel is not sealed, you can hear everything from the rooms above and next to it. Really not recommended!!!

The property was clean, some of the staff were nice, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

There was no shower curtain for the bathtub. The property didn't allow us to pay for the breakfast with crdit card. Also the heat didn't work until after 6pm. The breakfast started pretty late and was fairly limited.

Modern, beautifully finished, 18 min walk to old town centre, excellent breakfast
